countdown: 3 days till homecoming

so ive decided to ask Katie to homecoming. I thought doing that would make North jealous just like Jake said but it didn't work. He told me to be "mean" to her and she'll eventually miss me but she is just hating me more and more, god I miss her.

I wish she would have fought Katie the way she fought becca.

Anyways I got my tux and Katie got her 350 dollar matching dress. I bet you off Wyatt took North dress shopping she would buy something for like 50 bucks, cut it and dye it black.

I turned on my phone and decided to cover Lego house by Ed Sheeran.

"Shawn! Someone's at the door!" My mom yelled.

I stomped down stairs "can't you get it!" I reached at the front door and swung it open. I couldn't quite piece together who it was so I just spoke.

"Hello" I greeted the man in a military uniform.

"Hi do you know where Nora Black lives?"

"Do you mean North Black?" Her name cut into my throat

"Oh yeah that's her nickname sorry"

Nora is her actual name how cute. I couldn't help myself but blush which wasn't helping the serious conversation.

"Yep she lives two houses down" I said and he thanked me walking away.

I wonder who he was, north said that she had a brother in the military maybe that was him. Curiousty took over my mind I followed distantly behind the soldier.

I watched him knock on her door from behind a wall and she popped her head out.

Her long midnight black hair, her perfect skin, icy blue eyes, almost frost bitten rosy cheeks, and pink lips that are almost too kiss able.

I heard someone yell Shawn and I turned to see Katie waving at me I decided to ignore her and turned back and saw North burst into tears.

"Shawn!!" Katie yelled. The soldier walked back to his car and north just stood there sobbing

I ran to her almost immediately and grabbed her though she was pushing me away.

"North what happened" I cupped her face, she was heavily breathing and looked like she was about to pass out.

"North, North are you okay" I brushed her hair away from her face. She held her chest coughing like crazy and the tears never seemed to stop.

"What happened?" I asked her trying to stay as calm as possible not wanting to trigger anything.

"I'm fine I'm fine!" She yelled pushing me away I came closer trying to holder but she just kept pushing.

I saw someone run up to us and I looked up to see Wyatt.

"Woah, woah, woah dude back off" he said.

"She's dying bro!"

"I'm fine!" She coughed.

"It's cool it's cool just walk away"

"Bro!"

"Just walk away it's fine it's fine just walk away" he said and picked her up.

He reached for her hand and ran her into his house. I looked down at my feet and her tear stains on my shirt.

"Shawn what's going on!?" Katie yelled and I walked into my house and slammed the front door shut as hard as I could. I stomped upstairs and just sat by the door my head in my hands and cried. Maybe I just didn't deserve her in the first place.
