I woke up the next day excited for Friday and got up and walked down stairs.
I ate some breakfast and slipped on a white t-shirt with khakis pants and black vans. I did my hair, shaved, and waited for my sister to get ready.
My mom drove us to school and I walked to my locker. I was particularly excited about this Friday, I'm usually not that big of a Friday guy. Not saying I actually like school but I usually get lonely since I don't go out. And I guess a little part of me thinks that North would actually want to hang out but why would she.. with a guy like me anyways.
I opened my locker and grabbed my calculus book and made my way to class.
I walked in a little late and saw North sitting in the corner alone. She was wearing a white baseball button up with the words Royals in blue lettering stretched across the fabric.
I sat down in my usual seat and waited for the teacher to arrive.
"oh my god she's so emo like God be normal" one girl whispered to some blonde chick.
"Who?" She whispered turning around.
"That girl in the corner. "North"
how stupid is that" she scoffed and her friends laughed.
I rolled my eyes and sat back in my chair and the class started.
It was ridiculous how quickly the day ended. The bell rang and I went over to my locker and put away my stuff.
"Hey man" Ryan walked up to me.
"Hey"
"What are you doing tonight?"
"Nothing just chilling"
"Wanna hang out?" Jake asked.
"Nahh he's to busy stalking North" Ryan interrupted.
"No!"
"Okay well do you want to hang out"
"I'm busy" I began to walk out backwards.
"Yeah doing what!"
"Nothing!" I laughed.
"really!?"
"Yes!" I said and began to turn around but bumped into a girl and her books fell.
"Is that your hobby?" North asked.
"No sorry" I chuckled and she giggled. I stood up and handed her her notebook.
"So what are you doing tonight?"
"Nothing much just considering freedom options"
"Let me take you to a movie" I said, "Oh so now you have game?" She said. "I always had game." I denied. "Wellll" I rolled my eyes. "No but really though" I persisted. "Okay" she said. "Meet me at the...place" she whispered. "Okay" I nodded. "Bye" she smiled and walked away.
