I woke up in Shawn's arms but I decided to keep sleeping.
"But she needs it" the doctor said and I heard sniffling.
"Why she's okay" Jessica said.
"No she's not this young lady has been through alot and has attempted suicide three times now. She never asked for help and it's getting a little too much. She's lucky she lived through this because next time she won't"
They stayed silent.
"She needs therapy. A few weeks away from school. She just needs to calm down before she gets back to normal life. Letting go of her would be a crime"
"She's not suicidal" Shawn said and a tear dropped from my eye because I knew that it wasn't true. The lies I've been telling myself for years. I'm broken and I need someone to fix me.
"That's something she needs to decide for herself. Who are you?" The doctor asked.
"I'm her boyfriend" I smiled.
"Okay. So fill out this form and send it to her step father or wait for him to come back."
"Why?" Jessica asked.
"Because we need to let her parents or family to know about this"
"What if they don't?" Shawn asked.
"Then we can't let her go"
