The Party

finally, I have a long one for you. I feel like it makes up for my slaking off lately but I don't know. consider this a thank you for 2k reads even though we don't have that yet. we are close. so... yeah

POV Nico

Nico walked into Percy's house with his boyfriend by his side expecting a serious meeting. Instead he found a group of familiar face's having what looked to be a party.

"Uh... What's going on?" Nico asked Percy who had just turned up in front of him, seemingly out of nowhere.

"Oh, so there is a lot of explaining now that everyone is here and I'm guessing you want to know who everyone is..."

"Hi Nico!!" Anubis interrupted Percy's semi rant.

"Hi," Nico greeted his old friend and former poseser.

"How do you know who that is?... I don't even really know who that is yet!" Percy had seemingly not yet been filled in on my exact job description yet.

"Percy, I know every single person in this room."

"Not to interrupt your lovely conversation," Will started looking around the room confused. "But, If it makes you feel any better Percy, I have know idea who anyone here is."

Percy let out a sigh. "No, no. I don't hate Nico for knowing everyone, actually it will make things much easier, I just wasn't expecting it that's all."

"That's fine," Nico said. "But, what is going on?"

"Oh, well. I-me and Annabeth I mean decided it would be a good idea for everyone to know each other so we set this up."

"Ok."

"I'm still very much in the dark about everything. And Nico, how do you know everyone?" Nico's boyfriend pestered.

"That is confidential information," The son of hades explained.

"We're dating!" Will argued. At this point Percy had left the conversation to either look for another or watch the entertaining miny fight unfolding in front of him. Nico couldn't tell which.

"Yeah well the only excuse would be a sibling, god, and that depends on what kind of god, or a partner!" Nico attempted to explain agen.

"I am your partner!" Will said.

"I ment like one who is married to me." At this point Nico finally got some backup.

"Your name is Will right?" Anubis asked Will after poking the boy's shoulder. Will nodded, obviously confused. "Well Nico has told me a lot about his boyfriend," Anubis lied. Nico hadn't 'told' Anubis about Will; he had just learned it from his mind. "And he really likes you," Nico started to glare at him. "Well that isn't really part of this conversation. My point is for people like us we do have to follow a strict set of rules and we really can't tell anyone"

"Can confirm," Sadi said, coming from nowhere. "It is soooo Annoying when your boyfriend works for a lord of the dead, especially when that lord of the dead is your father."

Nico didn't think any of this was helping Will understand what was going on but it certainly did help him understand the fact that Nico should really not tell him what was going on.

"Oh yeah, and Percy!" Nico called out. "I can't really explain all of this." he gestured to the room around him. "Until you give them the basic lowdown."

"Ok," Percy said before turning around. "Hey everyone!" He shouted. "Can we all go to the living room so Annabeth and I and possibly Nico at some point explain to you what's going on."

Nico had no idea how everyone was fitting in Percy's living room, though he supposed if it could fit Mrs. O'Leary and a family of five(sometimes) it could fit around 20 people.

Percy and Annabeth were taking turns explaining how they had met each Mythology and while they were talking about Magnus, Alex poked me in the back. We had both heard this story a good amount of times.

"Did you know about all of this?" She asked. "All of the Mythology?"

"Yep. I even got possessed by that guy over there," I said way too casually while pointing to Anubis.

"Ah.." she said as if she knew exactly what I was talking about, I suspected she didn't.

"Nico, would you mind introducing me to your new friend," His sarcastic boyfriend said ever so sweetly.

"Ah... I definitely do see the resemblance to Magnus, this is your boyfriend right?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, this is my boyfriend Will. Will met Alex, daughter at the moment of Loki and Alex met Will, Son of Apollo."

Later Nico kind of regretted Introducing Alex and Will but that happened to almost everyone Nico introduced Alex to.

Immediately after Nico introduced Leo and Alex Leo asked, "Is it true that you also have a blond idiot boyfriend?"

"That glows in the dark?" was Alex's response.

"Of course!!" Leo practically shouted.

Under my breath Nico muttered under his breath, "I hate dead people so so much."

"How can you do that if you work with them every day, death breath?" Leo asked.

"OooOoh new nickname!" Alex squealed.

"No! Not New nickname!" Nico protested.

"I really don't think that's how that works, death breath." The nickname infuriated Nico even more when Alex used it.

"I'm going to kill both of you!" he shouted.

"I don't see how you're going to do that if we're already dead."

Nico probably would have found a way to kill the two of them after that if they hadn't been interrupted. The day turned into night and everyone continued to talk peacefully. Well for the most part at least. And no one got killed. Well until the next day when Nico was dropping off the einherjar in Valhalla he saw Alex kill Magnus. Nico vaguely wished he could do that to his boyfriend and have him alright by lunchtime. Unfortunately that was not the case for him.

Most people learned a lot by the end of the party-thing. Most people included his boyfriend who somehow had no idea there was more than one mythology, and did not include Nico. he did enjoy it however and would go back in a heartbeat. Well maybe he didn't enjoy his interactions with the fabbed combination of Leo and Alex, but he did like the party overall.
