Jeonghan and Joshua stood frozen, their hearts racing as Seungcheol approached them. The others tried to intervene, but Seungcheol was too powerful.
Bora also hear the growling sound she immediately come and see her pup.
"Seungcheol, snap out of it!" Bora shouted, trying to reach his mate.
But Seungcheol didn't respond. His eyes were fixed on Jeonghan and Joshua, his gaze burning with intensity.
But Seungcheol was beyond reason. He pinned Jeonghan and Joshua to the ground, his body trembling with restraint.
The others watched in horror, unsure of what to do. Soonyoung tried to intervene, but Seungcheol growled, warning him back.
Just as it seemed like Seungcheol would lose control completely, he suddenly stopped, his body shaking. He looked at Jeonghan and Joshua, his eyes clearing.
Seungcheol saw the fear and concern in Jeonghan and Joshua's eyes, which broke through his alpha haze.
As Seungcheol gazed into Jeonghan and Joshua's fearful eyes, he felt a pang in his heart. He saw the trust and love they had always shown him, and it shattered the alpha haze that had consumed him. He realized he was hurting the people he cherished most, and that thought was unbearable.
With a shuddering breath, Seungcheol released Jeonghan and Joshua, his body trembling with the effort to contain his alpha instincts. He took a step back, his eyes never leaving theirs, and whispered, "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry."
Jeonghan and Joshua approached him cautiously, their faces etched with concern. "Alpha, it's okay," Jeonghan said softly. "We're here for you."
Joshua nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "We'll get through this together, Alpha."
Seungcheol's eyes welled up with tears as he looked at his mates. He felt ashamed, grateful, and loved all at once. He knew he had to find a way to control his alpha instincts, not just for himself, but for the people he loved.
Seungcheol knew his rut was approaching, and he didn't want to risk hurting his mates, Jeonghan and Joshua. So, he made the difficult decision to leave and stay in the forest until his rut passed.
"I'll go and stay in the forest," Seungcheol said, trying to reassure his mates. "When my rut is over, I'll be back. Until then, be safe, my mates. I don't want to hurt you."
But Jeonghan and Joshua were worried about Seungcheol's safety. "But Alpha, you take care of us when we're in heat," Jeonghan said, trying to persuade him to stay.
"Yes, it's time for us to fulfill your alpha needs," Joshua added, echoing Jeonghan's concerns.
Seungcheol knew his mates were trying to understand, but he couldn't risk it. "I'm glad you both understand me, omegas, but it's not time to carry pups. You're both only 19, so wait a few more years. I also don't want this now, okay? Now go back to your rooms, and I'll be back. Don't mind-link me until I link you both, okay."
Jeonghan and Joshua reluctantly agreed, but they were still worried about Seungcheol's safety. "How will we know you're safe?" Jeonghan asked.
Seungcheol reassured them, "Don't worry, I'll tell Dad what's happening to me daily, okay? Now go and be safe, my mates." With that, he kissed their foreheads and left for the forest.
