Summary:

Tao, Elle, Isaac, Tara, and Darcy are visiting Nick and Charlie for their first pride parade in New York City. Little do they know that Nick and Charlie's new friends happen to be one of the most famous power couples on the planet.
Notes:

A continuation of my "Looking Up" fic asked for by many. Don't need to read to understand, but gives the story of how Nick and Charlie meet Alex and Henry. Hopefully at some point in the future I'll include the whole Super Six as well :)

Work Text:
"I just don't get why we have to put a pause on our first New York Pride parade just because your two new best friends are late. I think it's rude to be honest, if you have a set meeting time, you make it, no exceptions."

"Tao, calm down. We are not wasting any time. The whole point is being out with the community and sharing in the happiness. Something you are severely lacking right now." Elle puts her hands onto Tao's cheeks, not caring about the glitter that will inevitably get all over her fingers, and gently shakes his head back and forth trying to produce a smile.

Charlie jumps in, "Yeah stop pouting grumpy gills. They just said they will be here in a minute, and Tara and Darcy went to get food anyway. You guys are gonna love them."

Tao pulls his face out of Elle's hands, huffs dramatically and crosses his arms over his lean chest, "Well...I still think it's rude."

Isaac peeks up from his book with his signature smile, "I personally can't wait to meet these two mystery guests. If they've earned friendship with you two, they must be something."

"Wow thanks Isaac. That's actually really sweet," Nick says softly.

The five friends are waiting off to the side of the already massive parade, standing by a booth that is giving out free pride pins for every sexuality on the spectrum. Nick is sporting a tank top with the words, 'I'm bi, actually' on his chest while Charlie is in a rainbow striped t-shirt that has his signature 'Gay Panic' across the front. Elle is the most stylish of them all as always wearing a skirt, sparkly bra, and a painted jean jacket with all the trans colors that has the phrase, 'Trans Rights Are Human Rights' artfully across the back, and Tao is in a simple black shirt with white writing that says, 'Token Straight, Forever Ally". Isaac's attire is simple as well, a white t-shirt with a picture of the ace of hearts.

Down to the second after the promised minute, a deep voice with a Texan twang makes itself known over the noise of the crowd, "Nick! Charlie! Over here!"

Alex Claremont-Diaz pushes his way through the last barriers of people, coming to an abrupt halt inside Charlie and Nick's friendship circle. He's breathing a bit heavy, some sweat already gathering on his forehead underneath his gorgeous dark curls. Alex is donning a tank top that should be illegal with the way his arms are on display, the words 'Bilingual Bisexual' written across his chest and torso, a bi flag proudly tied around his shoulders like a super hero cape. Attached to his pink nail polished hand is Henry Fox being pulled in beside him. He's wearing a white shirt that says 'gay disaster', shorts that show off his insanely thick thighs, and knee high rainbow socks.

"So sorry we're late guys. Took this one forever to perfect this sparkly bi glory." Alex was of course referencing the glittered bisexual flag painted on his cheek.

Henry's posh voice jumps in fondly, "Well if someone would've stopped vibrating out of his skin for two seconds, it wouldn't have taken so bloody long, love."

Alex glares back and playfully elbows Henry in his ribs.

"Well excuse me baby, I can't help it that I'm overly excited for Nick and Charlie's first Pride in New York!"
