What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

Infiltrating the System! Naranja Academy in Danger!

The trainers gather in the courtyard of Naranja Academy, Director Clavell stands at the main podium, smiling brightly. "It's so great to see so many bright young faces come back after traveling far and wid to understand Terastallization. The students who have successfully passed their Tera-Training will recieve their Tera Orbs at the end of the day. But first, I have a suprise for you all." Clavell explained.

Geeta suddenly stepped onto the podium, "That's right, Clavell. We have made a competition called the "Course Students Battle Tournament" where each student will battle each other and can Terastallize if they wish."

A student raised their hand, "What if someone failed their Tera-Training? Will they get to Terastallize?"

Geeta chuckled, "Yes, but this'll most likely be the last time they'll be allowed to Terastallize."

Liko lets out a sigh of relief, sharing a look with Floragato. "Let's give it all we got."

Ash and his friends take their seats in the stands as the first battle begins. Ann sends out her Dewott against Niko's Roserade. Nemona sneaks her way through the crowds to sit next to Liko and the others. "Hey guys! Glad to see you again!" she greeted them cheerfully.

Ash grinned, "Hey Nemona, we should totally battle after this!"

"Definitely!" Nemona replied, "By the way, did you guys see that all the gym leaders are here?"

"Really?" Liko perked up, looking around the area. Spotting the gym leaders talking on a pair of benches closer to the battle, though Grusha is missing.

"So when are you guys battling?" Nemona asked.

"The battles we'll be in haven't been decided yet." Roy explained, " We don't battle 'til the second half."

Dot's Rotom Phone suddenly begins to ring "You have a call from: Penny" The automated voice repeatedly says, "You have a call from: Penny"

Dot accepts the call, Penny's voice hits her ear. "Dot? It's Penny, meet me in the nurse's office. We need to talk."

"But, I have to battle in the tournament-" Dot tried to explain.

"It's urgent." Penny interrupted, "I promise this is more important."

Penny hangs up, Dot turns to her friends. "Uh, I have to take care of something. I'll be right back!"

Dot runs off as Ash and the others look on before returning to watch the tournament. About an hour passes before Liko's phone begins to ring, "You have a call from: Dot" Liko picks up as Ash and Roy lean in to listen.

"Guys? I know this is gonna sound crazy, but the Explorers are in the academy!" Dot said in a panic.

"What?!" Roy exclaimed, "But how?!"

Liko thought for a moment, rembering the two students she saw during her first day at the academy. "Maybe they used a disguise? There were two people I saw back when we started our Tera-Training, I think their names where Cornbread and Seasoning?"

"Someone pretended to be a teacher too." Dot added. "Penny found out about all of this."

Ash came to his own realization, "Now that you mention it, Team Rocket's proabably here too. During our first day at rhe academy, I saw some people in the cafeteria. They gave me a weird vibe too."

"If that's the case, then they're everywhere and could be anywhere!" Dot concluded. "We should split up. I'll check the Biology Lab." 

"I'll go to the Art room!" Roy declared.

"I'll head to the Home Economics room!" Liko added on.

" Then, I'll head over to the cafeteria." Ash concluded, starting a group call on his Rotom Phone. "Everyone stay in contact."
