What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

Battle for the Six Heroes!

Giovanni and Matori pull out Strong Spheres of their own, spraying both of their Persians with Laquium to increase their strength.

"Alright Cetoddle, charge in with Ice Shard!" Ash commanded.

"Persian, Payday."

Cetoddle hits Persian on the head with a shard of ice, Persian's Payday strikes Cetoddle multiple times.

Giovanni laughed, "The World Monarch opposes me with a mere Cetoddle."

Ash grinned, "Believe me, we're not done yet!"

"Feraligatr, Aqua Tail."

Persian is suddenly struck from behind by Aqua Tail. "Matori!" Giovanni scolded.

"Sorry sir, Thunderbolt." Matori commanded her Alolan Persian.

Matori's Persian strikes Feraligatr with the same move Ash's Pikachu used against the organization many times before. Ash's eyes widened, "A Persian that knows Thunderbolt?"

"Quick Cetoddle, strike that Persian with Take Down!"

Cetoddle charged forward and striked the Alolan Persian's body. The Kantonian Persian charges up to Cetoddle in response. "Shadow Claw." Persian strikes Cetoddle in the back and sends it flying into a nearby wall.

Silver sees the distress in Cetoddle's eyes, yet the faith it has in Ash still shiens through. "Powder Snow!" Ash commanded. Cetoddle covered the room in snow, making Feraligatr and the Persians shiver.

Silver reached into his backpack and pulled out an Ice Stone. "Ash, use this!"

Ash caught the Ice Stone, Cetoddle beams just at the sight of it. "Does this make you evolve?" Ash asked, Cetoddle nodded. Ash grinned and tossed the stone to his Pokemon.

"Persian, intercept." Giovanni commanded. Persian attempted to catch the Ice Stone, only for Feraligatr to grab it whilst it was in midair, "Crunch!" Feraligatr bit down on Persian.

"Fury Swipes!" Matori commanded as her Alolan Persian scratched at Feraligatr's back. "What are you doing?!" Giovanni's voice boomed in Matori's face. "Go after that Ice Stone!"

Cetoddle caught the Ice Stone with ease as the other three Pokemon were distracted, glowing in a bright light as soon as the stone landed in its paws. It's body and limbs grow as Cetitan emerges from the light, gaining a large jaw full of large teeth. "Oh yeah, now you're messing with a Cetitan!" Ash taunted.

Giovanni stiffened, "No matter, your failure is inevitable."

Silver glared at his father, "Okay, no more playing around." Silver pulled his sleeve up, revealing a Key Stone. A Mega Stone floats out of Silver's backpack and into Feraligatr's forelimbs. Silver taps the Key Stone, Feraligatr gains red scales on his arms and a giant fin on its back in the shape of a Totodile's head.

"Woah, Feraligatr can Mega Evolve?!" Ash beamed, thinking about his Totodile.

Cetitan begins the spin around, glowing in a icy blue light, striking both Persians in an instant. "Sweet, you learned Ice Spinner!" Ash exclaimed, thinking about Grusha's Cetitan.

"Keep it up with Ice Fang!" Silver shouted, Feraligatr using it's back fin to strike both Persians at once.

Cetitan sees Silver and Feraligatr working in sync, looking towards Ash with a desire to go beyond just like they have. Ash sensed Cetitan's wishes and placed his hand to his chin, trying to figure out how they can do more. "Wait a minute, you know Take Down!" Ash realized, shuffling through his backpack and pulling out his Z Power ring and slipping it on and then placing his Normalium Z inside.
