The bus roars down the streets of Kitakami, the RVT watch the terrain through the windows. Passing a sign that says "Mossui Town". The bus skids to a stop, Friede and the others step out.
"Alright gang," Friede grinned, "Let's ask around abour Briar and find out..."
Friede looks around the town, finding it completely empty. "Where is everyone?" he asked.
"You folks looking for someone?" A nearby shopkeeper asked.
"Yeah, we're looking Briar." Mollie answered, "And by extend, the rest of the town."
"Don't know who this Briar is, but most of the townsfolk are celebrating the Harvets Festival, right up there." the man pointed towards a plaza atop a nearby hill.
"Well, guess that's where we're headed." Friede said, "We'll ask around and have some fun."
The kids cheered at the thought of a night of fun. The RVT make their way into the plaza, changing into some festive clothing.
"Man, these outfits look awesome, right Friede?" Ash asked, noticing the captain of the RVT staring at a green Pokemon floating in a cup.
"Woah, who's that Pokemon?" Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone.
"Sinistcha, The Matcha Pokémon, a Grass and Ghost type. It pretends to be tea, trying to fool people into drinking it so it can drain their life-force. Its ruse is generally unsuccessful."
"HEY! EYES OFF MY POKEMON!"
The two come face to face with a trainer in blue clothing donning a glare. "Woah, little miss-" Friede began.
"it's Carmine to you!" she snapped.
"Right, Carmine." Friede corrected himself, "I simply wish to take a closer look at your Sinistcha."
"No way!" Carmine shouted, "I'm not handing off my Pokemon to outsiders, not even the World Monarch!"
Carmine spotted a nearby carnival booth. "Say, if you beat me, then I'll let you take a look."
Friede grinned, "Oh you're on!"
"You guys have fun! I'm gonna go find Liko, Roy and Dot." Ash ran off, finding Liko and Dot with ease.
"Hey ladies, either of you seen Roy?" Ash asked.
Both girls shake their heads, Roy ends up walking up to them. "Hey Roy! Perfect timing!" Ash smiled.
"Crocalor!" Roy exclaimed.
"What?" Dot said in confusion.
"Crocalor, no!" Crocalor ran up to the trainers.
"Did Crocalor just talk?!" Liko was astonished.
Crocalor sighed, "No, I'm Roy! I met some guy with this weird machine, Crocalor and I pressed a button and now we're like this!"
"Crocalor!" Roy exclaimed.
"Woah. That is werid, but kinda cool!" Ash couldn't help but say.
"Ash! Really?!" Liko exclaimed.
Ash looked dumbfounded, "What? I would wanna be Pikachu for a while. Well, I was a Pikachu."
"WHAT?!"
Ash threw his hands up, "It's a long story! My friends and I met some wizard who offered to cast a mind reading spell on me and Pikachu, only for her to turn me into one! But it only lasted a little while though!"
"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed.
"Well, what do we do now?" Crocalor asked.
"I say, we keep things on the down low for now." Ash repiled, "We don't wanna freak anyone out."
