What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

Friends as Two, Me and You

Ash's Dragonite blasts through the Explorers base. Ash and Uruto riding atop her. Having followed Indy and Rubella all the way here, the two Explorers in question look back after running to a sealed door, their eyes almost showing fear.

Spinel enters through the door behind them, spotting the two intruders quickly. Spinel's Beheeyem flies out from behind its trainer, Ash realizes they just ran into Spinel's path, and there's no way of getting out. Ash acts fast and recalls Dragonite and stands in front of Urito as Beheeyem hypnotizes him, Pikachu does the same for Sableye.

"Uruto, find us help!" Ash uttered before staring emotionlessly at Beheeyem. Uruto and Sableye run off out of the base as Spinel smirks.

"Leave them," Spinel commanded, "We have something of true value."

Ash eventually found himself in a cell, he looks around the area for Pikachu, but there's no sign of him. He feels around his belt and searches his backpack, finding nothing. He looks up and sees four glass cases above him. Containing the gloves that holds his Key Stone, his Z Power Ring, his Dynamax Band and his Tera Orb. He looks to the cell door and finds another glass case containing six Poke Balls, one of them dawning a small lightning bolt.

"No...." Ash whispered in horror, Pikachu hated getting in his Poke Ball, and yet Spinel forced him into it.

"Greetings Mr. Monarch." Spinel's voice rang from a voice overhead. "I hope you don't mind, I didn't want you escaping just yet, so I kept all your belongings out of reach."

"Where am I?" Ash demanded to know.

"Why, for a special guest I had to give you the best!" Spinel exclaimed, "It was originally meant to house the sixth hero, but you'll do just fine."

Ash looked out the glass door of his cell, sure enough, the remaining five heroes that once belonged to Lucius in their own cells, all of them unconscious.

"So that's what happened to them after Laqua..." Ash whispered."

"Enjoy your stay."

Uruto ran out into the nearby forest, trying his best to recall where the Brave Olivine was docked. He hears someone coming and hides in a bush.

"Uruto! Ash! Where are you guys?" Roy called out into the wind.

Uruto jumped out of the bush immediately "ROY!"

Roy jumped back in response, "Dude, you can't just pop out at people like that!"

"That's not important! Ash got captured by the Explorers!" Uruto panted.

Roy gasped, "We gotta rescue him! Where did they take him?"

Uruto began to lead Roy back to the Explorers base. Not noticing Spinel and Chalace watching from a faraway camera.

"What shall we do, sir?" Chalace asked.

"Let them come." Giovanni's voice came in from Spinel's computer. "We shouldn't waste resources on a bunch of rookies. Send those new recruits after them, I'll send over my best member."

"Whatever you say." Spinel replied.

Chalace stood shocked at Spinel's sudden obedience. "But sir-"

Spinel cut her off by putting his hand up, "Calm now, Chalace. He's got more experience, I'm sure he knows best."

Ash punched at the walls of his cell. Injuring only his fists and leaving his attempts in vain. Until his cell door is busted down by a yellow Lucario. Roy peeked into Ash's cell, alongside Uruto.

"Ash, you okay?!" Roy asked.

"I'm fine," Ash answered quickly, "But I can't get to my stuff or my Pokemon!"
