What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

Kilowattrel is struck by Counter from a Lycanroc in its Dusk Form, knocking the flying Pokemon out. Roy recalls his Pokemon as Ash collects another win. "And that's the move that won me the Alola League." Ash concluded his explanation, "Now, Ult. You want next?"

Ult shrugged, "I dunno, what's the point? You've already beat us a dozen times."

"Yeah, you're like the guy version of Nemona." Dot muttered as Roy walked over to them a laid down.

"Plus, your Pokemon are pretty tired." Liko yawned, pointing to Pikachu, Mimey, Glalie and Lycanroc, who were panting and sweating from the constant back-to-back battles. "Why not rest with us?"

Ash deflated as he saw his four friends lie in place in a joint sense of boredom ever since the party he held for Silver. Ash suddenly hears a cry in the sky, seeing Friede's Charizard land on the wing deck. Friede disembarks from his Pokemon as Ash eagerly runs up to him.

"Hey Ash," Friede greeted, "I got your call so I took a break from Exceed. What's the problem."

"Them!" Ash pointed to his friends, "They've just been laying around for ages! I tried to get their spirits up with some battles, but that didn't work."

Friede placed his hand on his chin before spotting Ash's Lycanroc, "Woah, I've never seen a Lycanroc like that before."

"Professor Burnet says that's the Dusk Form of Lycanroc," Ash explained, "So far I'm the only one who has one."

"Amazing," Friede said breathlessly as he approached the unique Pokemon.

"Friede, focus!" Ash snapped.

Friede stood up, "Right!" He turned towards the other trainers, "Say, how about you come with me to do some fieldwork, we'll see an amazing Pokemon!"

The four trainers shrugged, "Eh, we already saw a lot of amazing Pokemon." Roy said.

"C'mon, it'll be fun!" Ash insisted.

"If it'll get you off our backs, fine." Dot relented.

Friede leads the trainers off the Brave Olivine and down a pathway, The trainers spot many familar Pokemon thar bring out a sense of nostalgia within them. Dot spots a herd of Rhydon which reminds her of Zirc, Skeledirge gets afraid of a Combee which reminds Roy of when he and Fuecoco were attacked by a Vespiquen, a herd of running Doduo reminds Ult of when he and Sableye got intro trouble with some, Ah spots a bunch of hanging Kakuna and remembers when we fought against the Pokemon Samurai.

The trainers arrive at a lake, where a trainer with orange hair waits for them, a trainer Ash recognizes. "Hey Misty!" Ash ran up to her, "What are you doing here?"

"Your Exceed friend here told me your situation?" Misty explained, "I guess I still have to help you out even when it was you who fried my bike."

Ash groaned, "Oh c'mon! You got a new one." Ash turned to his friends, "You guys remember Misty? You meet here during that party for Silver."
