What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

The Six Heroes Unleashed!

Charizard is soaring in the air before Dot notices someone waving to them from below. Ash notices the man as well and Charizard lands.

"Hello, you're with the Rising Volt Tacklers, correct?" The main in grey hair asked.

"Yeah, that's us, why?" Ash asked.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Hamber." Hamber said.

"So you're who Diana was talking about..." Dot muttered.

Ash's eyes widened with recognition, "And you're the one in the photos at Amethio's house!"

Hamber nodded, "It's a pleasure to meet the two of you. I just found out that Amethio's father is being held captive somewhere in these very woods."

"That means Liko and the others are walking into a trap!" Dot exclaimed.

Hamber tensed up, "Well it seems we must find Cervantis quickly!"

Hamber led the two trainers to a small building in the deepest parts of the woods. The door was locked tightly, nothing a Pokemon can't bust through.

"Alright, Pikachu! Iron Tail!"

Pikachu leaped up, just before his tail could hit the door, Pikachu is picked up and through back into Ash's arms by a psychic force. A Medicham drops down from above, standing between them and the door. Chalce steps around from the other side of the building.

"I can't let you do that." She spoke with nothing in her tone, "You will not interfere with our plans."

"Well, looks like we'll have to get through you!" Ash exclaimed as he sent Charizard out. "Ready guys?"

Dot nodded, Tinkaton releasing herself onto the battlefield, Hamber holds out a Poke Ball only to put it down in shame.

"I'm sorry children, but I can't bring myself to duel with her. If I do, I'll be bnaished from the Explorers." Hamber said in shame.

Ash sighed, "Alright, just the two of us."

Chalce brought out a Strong Sphere and sprayed it on Medicham, making it significantly stronger, but also more impulsive. 

"Medicham, Psybeam."

Medicham powers off a powerful Psybeam. Charizard soars into the air while Tinkaton takes the hit.

"Use Brutal Swing to get rid of it!"

Tinkaton begins to spin rapidly, allowing the Psybeam to dissapate. "Now use Wing Attack!" Ash exclaimed. Charizard flew fear Medicham and striked it with his wings. Tinkaton stops spinning and uses that momentum to charge towards Medicham, her hammer glowing with a red light. She strikes down Medicham, causing it to faint thanks to the damage dealt by Wing Attack.

"What move was that?" Dot asked, amazed at her Pokemon.

"I believe that's Tinkaton's signature move: Gigaton Hammer." Hamber noted.

Chalce recalls Medicham and sends out her Xatu. Ash and Dot prepare themselves for round two, only for Xatu to teleport both it and its trainer away.

"Coward!" Ash scoffed, "At least Team Rocket didn't give up until blasting off."

Pikachu busted open the lock, the three rush inside and find Cervantis inside at a desk. "Hamber!" Cervantis exclaimed, going to the one man he's familair with.

"What happened here?" Hamber asked.

"I couldn't support Spinel anymore, not after he made those Super Strong Spheres." Cervantis explained, "Chalce found out I was trying to overthrow them and tossed me in here."

"Super Strong Spheres?" Dot asked.

"Yeah, they're like Strong Spheres, they've got more Laquium power." Cervantis told the girl, he may not know them, but if they;re with hamber, he can trust them.

"We gotta find Liko and the others!" Ash exclaimed, he and the others running out of the building.

Up in the sky, a Meowth hot air Balloon far above an Explorers base. Loud explosions can be heard, even from above, it's clear there's som sort of battle going on. A battle against five very powerful Pokemon. Meowth is watching with a pair of binoculars.

"Okay, the new Twerpette made the pendant Pokemon take away the Laquium crystals on the hero Pokemon. And the Explorers boss just used a Sphere to power 'em up again."

Jessie scoffed, "The Twerp should've been here by now."

"Well, those twerps are gonna lose, especially if the boss shows up to help." James said, "I say we go down and end those Explorer-chumps once and for all!"

"Are ya saying we go against the boss?" Meowth asked.

"Maybe, cause then he'll see that these Explorers aren't even close to his level!" James exclaimed.

"Alright fine, it was getting boring just watching." Meowth relented.

The three lower the balloon and land alongside Liko, Roy and Uruto. "Team Rocket?!" Roy exclaimed. "You here to scratch us again?"

"Ay, we were just followin' orders!" Meowth defended his past actions, "We just wanna help ya take this guys down!"

Jessie sent out her Chewtle, "Just a truce til the Twerp gets here! Don't get used to it!

James sends out his Victreebel, "Well, I say we shoul help until these Explorers are gone. If the Twerp shows up or not."

Uruto shrugged, "Fine by me, we need more help."

The kids and Team Rocket prepare for a battle against the five Hero Pokemon, while Spinel smirks and speaks into a walkie talkie. "Giovanni, I've got some of your employees going against us. I trust that you'll punish them accordingly."

A/N: Hey guys, I know people wanted Ash involved in the battle with the five heroes, but I figured that wouldn't make sense because of how I wrote the last chapter. I needed Dot to still do her own thing, I figured having Team Rocket help out for now would be more interesting. Hope you guys enjoyed, and I'll see you all in the next chapter!
