What If Ash was in Pokemon Horizons?

The Strong Sphere

The four trainers eat breakfast in the hotel lobby. Having returned from seeing the Exceed facility and wait for Dot's report. Roy's Rotom Phone hovers to their level, Dot's voice coming through.

"You were right, it is a new Exceed facility. And I think those talks about the Strong Sphere are connected to it. There's a demonstration of it today." Dot reported.

"Well, then maybe the Vileplume going beserk yesterday is connected too." Ash suggested "I mean, we found it in the same forest."

"We should investigate it right away." Brock concluded, "Who knows what's going on there."

Ash looked at his old friend "Hey, what made you so on-edge about the Explorers, I never told you about them."

"Something just seemed off about that Spinel guy's report." Brock explained, "It's not like you to openly side with someone, and let the enemy get away. You would've told Officer Jenny." Brock tried not to swoon, "But the fact you went radio slient for the past few months, that's went I knew something was up."

"While you guys do that, I'll gather some more info." Dot said before ending the call.

The squad arrives at the Test Center just as a bus drops off some trainers. Roy looks over the trainers, spotting a boy he's familiar with.

"Hey look." Roy pointed, "Uruto's here too."

"Who?" Brock asked.

"We don't know him that well," Ash explained, "Roy knows him, but I wouldn't say their friends."

A security guard spots them and rushes in their direction. "My goodness! The World Monarch himself and Pewter's former Gym Leader are here for the demonstration! And you've brought guests!" The guard began to push them. "C'mon now! You're missing the best parts!"

The trainers enter the facility and take a seat in the stands, seeing a familiar girl battle an Exceed employee. "Hey it's Dash!" Liko pointed out.

"She's a friend from our Tera-Training." Ash filled Brock in.

Roy watches as Dash pulls out a sphere object. "Guess that's the Strong Sphere."

Dash pops it open, swallowing her Swana in a pink mist. Yet Swana emerges with a brute force and wins the battle with ease. Though Ash, Liko and Roy have their concerns.

"That mist was pink."

"And Swana acted just like Vileplume and all the other beserk Pokemon we fought!"

"We should've known." Ash delcared, "The Strong Sphere has Laquium inside of it. Ash looked to Brock, "Laquium is a pink mist that makes Pokemon goes crazy and hurt themselves and other Pokemon and people."

"And now for the final event." A voice boomed from the speakers.

"Hey, isn't that Chalce?" Roy asked.

"Sounds like it." Liko agreed.

"She's, like, an admin-person for the Explorers." Ash explained to Brock.

"Boy, I've missed a lot." The former Gym Leader responded.

"And now, performing an exibition match for you all, give it up for Coral and Sidian." Chalce announced as a door opened and the two members announced walk onstage. The crowd eyrupts while the four trainers glare.

Down onstage, Sidian watches as Coral entertains the crowd. The brute then spots the four trainers, quickly pulling Coral aside, "Look, they're here."

 Coral gasped, "What are they doing here?! I oughta give that Roy a beating!"
