ALORA

My entire body's weight leaned back on Enzo's strong one as I slowly started to crawl down. Yet he continued to hold me in his arms.

"Alora! Alora!" It's him, calling my name repeatedly.

I looked at his now-blank face. The terror in his eyes and on his whole face increased my physical pain to a different level. It became difficult to even breathe.

Then slowly Carlo, Max, Rome started to come in my blurry vision. They were saying something but I couldn't hear them. Then they knelt to the floor beside him, making a circle with me lying in between.

In Enzo's arms.

He kept me closer to his chest. His shaky hands wrapped around my sudden numb body.

They kept saying something but I couldn't hear them. However, I can hear every heartbeat of mine. As if there was an earthquake happening in my chest. Feel so painful yet also numb at the same time.

Tears welled up in his eyes. He shouted something to them. Maybe it was something like an ambulance, quickly, call, go...please.

Then a cloth was wrapped on my body, on the bleeding part to prevent the river of blood from flowing. All of a sudden, my ears started working again. The noises came back to me. Then I heard them.

"Hey, hey, hey... Alora. I am here. You will be okay." Enzo nodded rapidly. A choked sob came out from him.

"E-Enzo..." I managed to speak, inhaling a breath. "It hurts...so b-bad."

His shaky breath fell on my face. "The ambulance is coming. Okay? Stay strong." I can't. "I am here. We all are here."

Their faces came in vision. I saw their teary eyes, dreadful faces, and trembling lips.

Averting my gaze to him, I said, "It's over...Enzo." I half smiled. "It's t-the e-end."

"Don't." Enzo's lips trembled. "Please...don't say-" His words trailed off.

Never have I ever imagined to see Enzo breaking down like this. As if he is the one hurting the most. And, yes, he is.

A single tear rolled down his cheeks, then another followed and uncountably kept falling down.

He is crying for me. My Enzo is crying for me. The fact that he doesn't seem to be bothered by everyone watching him. All his focus is only on me. I always wanted it- his focus on me, but never thought of getting it in my probably last moment.

"The ambulance is coming!" Galen came rushing. "Don't worry. It's coming."

"Stay strong, Alora. Please do it for us." Carlo's voice full of hurry reached my ears.

I don't think I have much time left. I am losing so much blood. I already lost so much earlier. I am bleeding uncontrollably.

It's not stopping. The blood is everywhere. On me, on the floor, even in his hand. The sadness in his eyes is because of me. I always wanted to be the reason for his happiness, not this. More tears flowed down his cheeks.

Taking a sharp intakes of breath, he said, "Stay with me, please. Stay with me." His voice cracked, chin quivering. "Just hold on a little longer. Please, do it for me."

It hurts, it hurts so much to even look at him in this position. When I saw his continuously falling tears, I felt a different kind of pain. Completely different from the physical pain. It's a bittersweet emotion.

Suddenly, a flash of light captured my vision and I blinked once. When I reopened my eyes, all I saw was light and loneliness. All of a sudden, I found myself in an unfamiliar place out of nowhere. No one is with me here.
