ALORA
If we look closely, this has now become a five year old case. With only three murders coming to light till now.
At that time, the first case of this serial killing case that came up was Kathie Parker's case, which was given to my dad to investigate. And then in the same year after a few months, another body was found carrying evidence of the previous case. Leading it to clarification of a serial killer case.
Similarly, Hannah Harper's murder case came into the hands of another officer, Leone Marshal.
Now I have to put myself on my Dad's shoe to go ahead with these unsolved mysteries.
Today, who would have thought that I... Alora Gray would eventually be playing the role of an investigator of the same case with a recently found victim, Tori Margot.
Therefore, with this recent case... I must solve the mystery of the past four years of all murders together.
Oh, and I also got my own personal assistant for this work. Both of us had flaws and were also inexperienced in this work if we talk about it. While I was an unprofessional investigator who was only doing this to seek for truth. On the other side, Enzo Ferrante was an illegal dealer and not to mention a Mafia boss too who happened to stay by my side.
No one even knows how many more women that serial killer might have made victims of this cruelty. Just because only three victim's news came to light doesn't mean that there wouldn't be any others. And to prevent it from happening to someone else again in future, this killer needed to get caught.
MARS said there are truths which need to be revealed, to me. I wondered if they happened to have something to do with these murders.
It could be possible. Because my dad was in charge of one of these murder... he got hold of the first case. What hurt me the most is Dad couldn't get to make it. Then, apparently, Leone Marshal came into the picture and eventually he disappeared too after some time.
Does any of it happen to have something with my Dad or the disappearance of the other officer? Now it made me question things. While also making me afraid of the answers. I didn't know where this was leading me but I needed to go on. For all the hidden truths.
Enzo came into view and gestured to me to follow him. "Feleti gave us the address."
"Remember to thank him for me later." I smiled. That man always helped us without any bragging.
I don't care if it's his work, he still chooses to be nice with us when he could act like some arrogant, aggressive, 'I know everything' person. Right?
"Already did." Enzo glanced at me. "Are you ready to dive into the detective world, Ms. Gray?"
I chuckled. "Certainly, Mr. Ferrante."
He drove the car at a respective speed, not too fast or too slow. Constantly glancing at my direction by every passing second.
I knew he was doing this for my recovering health. The doctor finally discharged me today and as I was already planning things, I requested Enzo to make it today for taking our first step. He listened to me and here we were. Taking our first step together.
Reaching our destination, we got out of the car and walked to the house. Enzo rang the bell. Hopefully, someone came to open the door. I thought nobody would be found here. Upon seeing us, the lady frowned while her red, swelled up eyes gazed back at me.
I swallowed. "Is this Tori Margot's house?"
A beat passed before the frown from her face vanished and I noticed tears started to welled up in her eyes.
