ALORA

Seven years later:

"Slow down, sweetheart." My steps came to a halt as Enzo's voice reached my ears and I stopped in the middle of the race.

I turned to look at his face, and he flashed a bright smile. However, some fake heavy breathing noises and a look of pretty disappointment caught my attention.

"Dad!" She shouted to him. "It is a race!"

Then she held my hand and led me to the table where Enzo was sitting with a serious preparation for refreshment: glasses of juice and bottles of water.

"A race means you are supposed to run fast." She explained it just like how a young elegant lady would.

I watched with amazement and a little surprise also as she puffed her face while rolling her eyes. My mouth hung open. Such a drama queen she has been turning day by day.

Enzo smiled looking at her.

"I know, my dearest. But running too fast is not good- it's bad for your mama's health, you know."

"You only care about mama. All the time." She folded her hands, looking adorably mad with a pouting face. "Am I not your sweetheart too?"

Just when Enzo was going to say something, she quickly showed him a hand as a stop signal.

"Hold on. I am not finished yet." She remarked and Enzo nodded like bowing before a princess. "You said I am mama's mini version, then shouldn't I be your mini sweetheart too?"

Enzo laughed before gently making her sit on his lap. I smiled as I adored them silently. He didn't seem to notice it yet but although our daughter is my mini version, she is her dad's shadow as well.

"Of course, you are Reina." Enzo said.

"But I didn't hear you address me as such." She retorted.

I chuckled, taking a seat beside them.

Enzo sighed but then turned to me and whispered, "I am hundred percent sure that Stella is teaching her all these things."

"What things, Enzo?" I asked.

"How to complain about everything." He breathed out.

I watched her narrowing her eyes on him.

"Dad, don't say that." She pouted, making a face. "I won't hear anything negative about Aunt Stella."

Enzo passed me a done look.

"See, now she is even defending that woman." He frowned. "Unbelievable. What does she teach a five year old? Whenever she visits she always leaves with her influence on our little princess."

Well, he looked rather dissatisfied with this idea than angry.

"She is barely five and that woman has already started to train my daughter as her personal lawyer against me- her own father!" Enzo said.

I saw her narrowing her eyes on him before she turned her face to the other side while pursuing her lips.

"Mama, please tell Dad to stop saying nonsense about Aunt Stella. Or I might not talk to him for an hour." Reina stated.

After hearing that, Enzo hurriedly passed me a stunning look and I shrugged my shoulders.

"You heard the lady." I suppressed a mischievous smile.

Therefore, Enzo didn't have any choice but to calm down the little girl with juice so that he would not have to go with her silent treatment for another time in this month. Well, now that I was thinking about it she was actually learning things- like how to make Enzo convince her from time to time by using this mechanism called silent treatment which I used to go for once a while ago. So Enzo has been right. This was all Stella's effects on our daughter. She was teaching her stuff that was inspired by me in my prime days.
