Ayanokoji POV:

I glanced down at the text Shizukana had sent me.

It was currently March 12th, Sakayanagi Arisu's birthday, and he had sent me to collect his gift for her since he had been flatly denied when he tried to come here himself.

I looked back up at the door.

Way back then, Ike and some of the others had made spare keys for all of the boys rooms.

Though we all respected our privacy, there had been a couple of times where trouble had voluntarily entered the room without prior notice.

Though Shizukana had been very adamant about making sure no one entered his room over the last couple of months.

I unlocked the door to his room, and opened it.

I blinked.

What is this?

I closed the door, and opened it again.

No, there's no mistake.

This is Shizukana's room, I can see why he didn't want others going inside.

Wires, various gadgets, several devices, screens, audio devices, spare parts, work-in-progress projects, completed projects.

In short, his room looked like the room you would expect a crazed engineer to have if he was locked inside a workshop and forced to keep half of it clean.

The other half appeared like some sort of death trap.

I can clearly tell from the various connected wires and devices that one mistake of mine could end up costing everything in this room.

I stepped inside, closing the door and locking it.

This is going to be a hassle.

I glanced across the room, and just as he said, the gift was sitting atop his desk.

The only problem is his desk is crowded at the back of the room, meaning I'd have to wad through his devices carefully.

He should've told me the ones to actually watch out for, but based on what I see now there would be too many to keep track.

On that note...

I stepped forward, examining some of the things that were closest to me.

There were some smaller tables and desks around, and I picked up the first thing that caught my eye.

Ah, I didn't pick up the actual object, but rather some notes scattered just near the object.

It was still being constructed.

His notes... he's a messy note-taker too. Strange, were those earlier skills been an act to impress the class? Then again, most documents he hands out are printed, not hand-written.

From the looks of things though, he's deconstructing a phone that can be found on School Grounds, and is removing the functions that prohibit contact with the outside world.

He appears to be close to doing so, but it's what comes after that he's clearly more excited about.

He's trying to connect a bunch of phones to the same network as though they were clones.

Clearly he plans on doing something that will lead to his phone being traced, he's working on a way to have multiple answers pop up in response.

In a sense, if someone were to search for his specific phone, multiple locations would come up, because they're all connected through the same registration.
