Chapter 36: New Chapter

Elle's POV:
"This is it." Bulong ko at tumitig ako sa sarili ko, another month has passed and now i'm ready. This time, tapos na akong tumalikod sa mundo. 

I'm going to face the world, to let the world know that i'm new. I'm the new Elle Estrada. "Okay, show the Elle Estrada Version 2." Bulong ko at huminga ng malalim bago pumikit.

"Okay Elle, it's showtime!" Sigaw ni Dj Scad kaya tumayo na ako. Kaya mo to Elle, kaya mo to. "Go Girlfriend!" Rinig na rinig ko ang boses ni Migs habang nasa back stage ako, inaayos ang mic ko.

Huminga ako ng malalim at tumungtong na sa stage, "On air in 5... 4... 3... 2..." Parang biglang nag-slow motion ang lahat. So this is it huh? The stage... The dress... The mic... The host... The audience... So this is what it feels like? Parang kinakabahan ako na natatakot na naeexcite, halo halo.

"And now, let us all welcome the new popstar that will amaze us. Elle Estrada!" Lumakad na ako ng marinig ko na ang boses ng host, si Lauren. Ngayon ako ie-air sa industry at sa isang medyo hindi sikat na TV show lang. Sabi ni Manager Glee kaylangan ko daw magsimula sa maliit, palaki.

"Good morning, New York! Good morning, Lauren!" Bati ko at nakipagbeso beso bago kumaway sa audience at umupo na. "Good morning Elle, so how's your morning?" Ngumiti ako sa kanya bago sumandal sa upuan at naupo ng maayos.

Tumawa silang lahat kaya ngumiti ulit ako. "Hahahaha. So that's why we were hearing moans a while ago." Natatawang sagot ni Lauren.

"Can't blame me, the guy's hot." I whispered but loud enough for everyone to hear. The room was filled with laughter kaya tumingin ako sa camera at nagkibit balikat. I've learned so many things sa loob ng 1 month and i can tell that i changed.

Humarap si Lauren sakin, you see this TV Show is about showing amazing things, new talents, showing something new. "So what do you have for us?" Tanong nito so i smirked before turning my head on the audience, "It's a surprise."

"And cut! Great job everyone. We'll be on in 5, take a break Elle." Sabi ng director kaya tumayo ako at nagsabing pupunta lang sa CR.

"Well done Elle!" I whispered to myself.

Hinigpitan ko ang hawak ko sa mic.

Sinamaan ako ng tingin ni Nelle at tumalikod na, "Anak naman. Kaylangan mo ba talagang sabihin yun sa kapatid mo?" Sabi ni Papa habang nakatingin kay Nelle na naglalakad na papunta sa kwarto nya. "Pa, mamaya na lang okay? I'm tired." Sabi ko at tumalikod na din.

Pumasok ako sa kwarto ko at napabutong hininga, "God. I'm so tired." Bulong ko at humiga na sa kama ko. Haaaay. "Bwisit! Kakahiga ko lang magriring ka naman." Sabi ko sa cellphone ko at tinitigan yun. Si Migs lang pala.

"Oh?" Pambungad ko. Sa loob ng pagpa-practice ko ng one month, i already have adopted an accent, well sort of. "Wow. Nice to talk to you, my girlfriend." Sabi ni Migs kaya umirap ako. Yan na naman sya sa tampo tampong effect nya. Kainis!

Huminga ako ng malalim at bumilang, "Ayoko makipagaway okay? How's your school?" Pagiiba ko ng topic dahil alam kong hindi sya magpapatalo. Narinig ko syang nagbuntong hininga at alam kong hinahawakan na naman nya leeg nya. Ganyan sya kapag frustrated. "Sobrang nakakapagod. Buti ka pa pwede ka ng hindi mag high school at college." Bulong nya kaya tumawa ako ng mahina.

"Okay lang yan, i'll visit you naman sa school e. Next day, bukas kasi kailangan ko samahan si Brooke sa mall." Sabi ko at ramdam ko din ang pagirap nya kasabay ng pagbuntong hininga, "You know that she's just talking to you cause' you'll be famous, right?"

Umirap ako at umikot sa kama, "Wag ka ngang ano. I don't need her naman e, i got you. So kung iiwan nya din naman ako, it's fine cause' i got you." Sabi ko at with matching sweet tone pa para mawala inis nya. "Haaay. Sige na nga, pupunta na lang ako mamaya dyan sa inyo. Pag katapos ko sa Literature na home work. Talk to you later. I love you."

"I love you more, rest for a few minutes bago ka pumunta dito." I said before ending the call. Bumalik ako sa pagtitig sa kisame. Madami nang nagbago at madami pang magbabago. Si Papa, naging school driver sa pinapasukan na school ni Nelle. Si Mama, sa restaurant na sya nagtatrabaho bilang cook. Si Nelle, ayun chick boy na. Akala mo kung sinong pogi! Ugh.

At ako, ganap ng superstar. Hindi kasikatan pero i'll get there. May mga bago na sakin, bagong damit, bagong bahay, bagong kaibigan, bagong schedule, at bagong ugali.

Yung Elle na kinakawawa dati, superstar na.
