Chapter 40: Party

James' POV:
"Mic, check. Hair, check. Jacket, check. Shoes, check-- LOUISE! SIT THE FUCK DOWN!" Sabi ng hairstylist namin kaya napakamot sa ulo si Louise bago maupo. Nagpigil naman kami ni Brandon ng tawa. "Buti nga." Sabi ni Tristan kaya sinamaan sya ng tingin ni Louise.

Pano ba naman? Kanina pa yan silip ng silip sa labas, excited na excited tumungtong sa stage. Parang ngayon lang magpe-perform. He even ditched Kiara for this party, saying he had some errands to catch on.

"Are you kids ready? We got a full house." Napangiti kaming lahat ng marinig yun, it's been a while since I last heard that. I've canceled my events because of Elle, when we were together. So much for that.

Tumingin ako kayla Louise at nagtanguan naman kami, "Let's do this!" I announced and everyone in the room cheered before running to the back stage.

"WE ARE BACK!" I announced as my voice echoed the arena and everyone cheered, raising their hands, throwing stuffs, and screaming.

Nagumpisa na kaming pumunta isa isa sa mga places namin, it's been a while since i've last seen a crowd. And it feels so nice to be up here again. Tumingin ako sa VIP Area at napangiti ng makita ko dun si Rosita at may hawak pang banner. She had been my friend for a week now.

We spent each day like it's our last day.

Before opening my eyes, Elle's picture popped up. And I smiled, I finally am moving on. I'm taking a big step forward. For my bandmates. For me. Bumalik ako sa katinuan ng marinig ang sigaw ni Louise kaya napalingon----

"LOUISE!" Sigaw ko bago tanggal ang shirt ko dahil puno na ng icing yun. Naghiyawan naman ang mga audience kaya tumawa sila Brandon. I smirked bago kunin ang tubig at ihagis sa kanilang tatlo.

Tumawa ako habang sila gulat pa din sa nangyari, "PAYBACK!" Sigaw ni Brandon at dun na nagsimula ang paghampasan at daganan namin.

This is me.

"That was a blast!" Sigaw ko habang nagpupunas ng pawis ko. Limang kanta ang kinanta namin bago matapos ang concert at didiretsyo na kami ngayon sa after party. "I know, I know." Sabi ni Louise na parang proud na proud pa sa sarili nya.

Napatingin ako sa VIP Area at nakita si Rosita na nakatingin sakin kaya kumaway ako sa kanya at niyaya syang lumapit sakin. "James." Nakangiti nyang sabi, and yes sinabi ko na sa kanya na ako si James Smith.

Well, her reaction was funny. Because she just returned a simple smile. Like she wasn't a fan or anything related to The Breakers. I got awkward so she started laughing. I couldn't forget my face and her face. She was so... different.

"Earth to James!" Napalingon ako sa kanya dahil sumigaw sya sa tapat ng tenga ko. She always does that! Screaming, shouting and punching me. But I love how she can still be her even though i'm James. The James.

She was so cool.

"You were saying?" I asked, trying to recall if I heard something. But obviously, my mind was flying because of her. "I said you seemed to enjoy being up there. On the stage." Sabi nya kaya ngumiti ako at tumango. It was like a home to me.

Being a superstar isn't just about being famous and having lots of money, it's about living the dream. Our dream. My dream.

"Enjoyed the show BGirl?" I cocked, and she looked at me like I was insanely mad. Tumawa naman ako at ginulo ang buhok nya. She never really wanted to be called as a 'fan' by anyone. It was weird, I know. "Too much day dreaming for you kid." She said using her british accent, I mocked her until we reached the truck.

Nilingon ko sya, "You are coming with me right?" Tanong ko, hopeful. Tumingin sya sakin at ngumiti bago tumango. "Alright! After party here we come!"

"You never told me you're a model!" Gulat kong sabi kay Rosita ng makita ang magazine na cinover nya. She was freaking hot. Nakita ko namang namula ang pisngi nya at tumango, "I never really wanted to be one. Pinilit lang ako ni Mommy." Sabi nya at bakas naman ang lungkot sa boses nya.

I held her hand and squeezed it lightly, "Gawin mo kung ano gusto mong gawin. You're old enough to do your own thing and if you would fall, i'm old enough to catch you." Pagkasabi ko nun ay lumiwanag ang mukha nya at ngumiti sakin.

"You're really a good friend, James. But I can't quit my job, I had to finish it. I promised her that... That was my last promise to her." Mahina nyang sabi kaya ngumiti ako at tinignan sila Louise na nakatitig samin. What's their problem?

"Ah oo ano. Yung porn na pinapanood ni Brandon kanina." Sabi ni Louise at humarap pa kayla Tristan. Napapoker face ako at nagblush naman si Rosita. "Dude, wag sa harap ng babae." Bulong ko sa kanya at sinamaan sya ng tingin.

Tinaas naman nya ang kamay nya, "Okay. I'm sorry, i'm sorry. Jeez." Sabi nya at inirapan pa ako. Sinamaan ko sya ng tingin at iiling iling na humarap kay Rosita. "Ganyan ba talaga kadaldal si Louise?" Nakangiti nyang tanong kaya tumango agad ako miski sila Tristan ay nakita kong tumatango tango.

"You have no idea, welcome to my life Rosita."
