Israel. If you don't know what Israel is, Israel is a small country in the Middle East. Unlike the rest of the Middle East, Israel's main religion is Jewish instead of Islamic or Muslim. But if you do know about the controversy surrounding Israel you should know about Palestine. The Palestinians and the Israelis have been in high tension since 1947. Many Middle Eastern Nations saw how Israel's high tension to Palestine and that Jewish is the main religion, the Middle East believed that Israel will destroy Muslim and Islamic majorities. Today the entire Middle East (except for neutral Turkey) unrecognizes Israel. Many countries wanted to invade Israel but failed because one thing. The United States of America. It is unknown why the U.S supports Israel but it is usually accepted that the U.S supported Israel because Israel was a democracy and at the time, the Cold War started and it was race between Capitalism and Communism. The American people thought is was good to protect Israel against aggressive Muslim and Islamic countries and against the Soviet Union's influence.
