Massacres, Genocides. The worst thing ever. Killing hundreds to thousands maybe even millions. But which are the worst? Spain's conquest of the Aztecs. In 1521 Spanish Conquistador Hernán Cortés, has visited the Aztecs in Tenochtitlan. Cortés before the visit has gathered a couple hundred Spanish Conquistadors and hundreds of thousands of indigenous peoples all across Mesoamerica. Aztec Emperor Montezuma II welcomed Hernán Cortés, and when Montezuma least expected, Cortés ordered for Spanish to take Tenochtitlan. Tenochtitlan was destroyed. Cortés army killed 200,000 Aztecs, and over time killed 2,000,000 Aztecs because of the small pox that the Spanish Conquistadors brought that the Aztecs weren't immune to. The city of Tenochtitlan became what is now Mexico City the most populated city in North America. Armenian Genocide. 1915, the unstable Ottoman Empire decided to kill all Armenian majorities in Turkey that are not Muslim. And from 1915 to the Ottoman Empire's collapse in 1922, they killed 1.5 Million of the 2 Million Armenians living in Turkey because they weren't Muslim. Today the Turkish Government denies the Armenian Genocide's existence, this act enrages Armenia whom have hatred towards the Turks. Invasion of Nanjing. The Republic of China was under Civil War since 1927. While the Chinese Communists were far from the Republic of China's capital, Nanjing. In 1937 when the Chinese Nationalists were completely distracted by the Chinese Communists, Imperial Japan decided it was the most perfect time to invade China and they did. The Japanese marched from Manchuko down from Beijing to Chonqjing to Nanjing. The Japanese quickly invaded, (WARNING: DISTURBING AND BRUTAL DESCRIPTIONS ARE GOING TO BE EXPLAINED) when the Japanese arrived in Nanjing, Chang Kai-Shek leader of China flees to Southern China, and the Japanese sexually harassed and raped little girls as young as 8 and Elders as old as 90. After raping and/or sexually harassing the females they kill them. The Japanese also kidnapped males as young as 4 and as old as 88 were beaten, mutilated, shot, hanged, decapitated, burned alive, drowned and other horrible things. 300,000 of 600,000 people living in Nanjing were killed. The Japanese have apologized for the Nanjing massacre for decades but the Chinese Communists and the Chinese people don't believe it's a proper apology. The Holocaust. During Hitler's reign of Nazi Germany he wanted Germany to go back to a great empire again. But Hitler wanted many people dead because he believed they got in his way of a powerful Germany. The Holocaust has killed an estimated 12,000,000 people half of which were Jewish. The ethnic groups and religious people targeted in the Holocaust were Jewish, Serbians, Homosexuals, Romanians, the Disabled, Soviets, Communists, the Polish, Freemasons, Slovenes, Jehova's Witnesses, and Spanish Republicans (for Franco). The Nazis starved, poisoned, froze, tortured, burned, gassed and more horrible punishments. The worst out of all the camps was Aushwitz in Germany. The Federal Republic of Germany banned many Nazi Propaganda after Hitler's suicide. All of this makes much countries hated by the ethnic groups affected from the Genocide/Massacre.
