We looked in Europe. We looked in North America. Now let's look in South America. Mapuche, Chile & Argentina. In the southern region of Argentina and Chile near Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina
This region was wanting independence ever since being annexed by Chile and Argentina after Spain left. Unlike most of South America, Mapuche was never colonized by Europeans, Spain had multiple attempts but failed, the Argentine and Chilean governments had annexed the land, and the people want independence. Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Brazilian state of Sao Paulo has been wanting independence since the 19th Century. The state is obviously like any other Brazilian state, except that Sao Paulo has the most Italian immigrants than any other Brazilian state. Also Sao Paulo's GDP is USD$909,000,000,000 which makes some people believe that Brazil is like Spain, wanting to keep the region with the most money and be aggressive towards independence movements. French Guyana, French Colony. In South America, French Guyana is still in control under France. And when it comes to colonialism people want independence and sometimes peace, sometimes war, just like Puerto Rico and Alaska never independent but wants independence. Raizel, Caribbean Sea. Raizel is a Protestant Island controlled by a Catholic government. The island is under control by Colombia. A Capitalist, Catholic, Spanish Speaking government. A majority of the 70,000 residents are Afro-Indigenous peoples and not really Hispanics/Latinos. And you know about the ethnic majority in the region just like Alaska and Greenland and are wanting independence (The island's flag looks like a rejected Scottish flag by the way). Guess that's it, there really wasn't a lot of major seperatist movements but at least there is actually separate movements. Next up AFRICA!!!
