Have you always wondered why Latin America is so violent? You probably have so much questions why it's so violent. Was it Spain? Was it Portugal. Was it Trump, Obama? Was it America? Well it's complicated, but a simple answer is because drugs and Corruption. See Latin America is filled with so many drugs an example is the cocaine in Colombia and the weed in Mexico. So corruption in Latin America is why the drugs come in. Corruption after Spain and Portugal's withdrawnment from Latin America has been a very large problem in the region. Even though a majority of Latin America is democratic, the democracy in Latin America works really differently than in Canada or the U.S, so if the democratic system is different than in friendly Canada than your country most likely has a problem. So now the drugs. The drug cartels in Mexico and Colombia have been really corrupting both countries, as drug cartels usually have an upper hand over the government with things like bribes so the cartel can get serious pesos. In Brazil it's just corruption for some serious Brazilian Raúl. 3 of the most dangerous cities to live are in Latin America and those cities from 3-1 is Caracas, Venezuela, Cuidad Juarez, Mexico, and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia, and Belize are considered one of the most dangerous places to live. Brazil has the highest murder count with 35,000-50,000 murders and Mexico has the 3rd highest murder count with 18,000-26,000 murders. The Cartels are such a problem that many gangs are getting stronger because of the Mexican Drug Cartels an example is La Mara Salvatrucha 13 a Salvadoran Street gang and the most dangerous gang in the world that expanded from Central Honduras all the way Ontario, Canada are allies with the most dangerous Mexican Drug Cartel and 2nd most dangerous gang in the world Los Zetas. But some things are improving. The Mexican Drug Cartels are falling apart. Why? Because legal drugs. The Mexican Drug Cartels' largest selling product Weed is being legalized in some American states which can pretty much downgrade the Mexican Drug Cartels profit and the ingredients to make heroin that are being send to Mexico are being confiscated by the Chinese government because illegal heroin ingredients are getting confiscated and drug dealers are sent to execution for sending the ingredients to Mexico. And Mexico's murder rate is decreasing because the Mexican Drug Cartels are struggling for power and the Mexican government are annihilating the Cartels because of legal weed and China. The Colombian Drug Cartels are more quiet than the wind and are only heard selling cocaine to Mexican Cartels. So Latin America's problem is getting better in places like Mexico. And getting worse with the mass inflation in Venezuela and Argentina. But places like Mexico and Brazil are expected to become one of the most richest countries ever so everything is improving and going to hell. Let's hope this situation will be solved very soon.
