Is Trump's wall possible?

Donald Trump, a person we talk very little about, but we mentioned him here and there but why not give him the spotlight. First let's obviously talk about Donald Trump's biggest proposal to him and his supporters, about the wall between the Mexican-American border. First before actually talking about if the wall is possible let's see why the U.S-Mexico border is closed off. In the mid 20th Century about after World War II, Mexican immigrants exploded beating European, Canadian, and Asian immigrant groups, many U.S presidents acknowledged about the Mexicans in America and in 1954 then President Dwight D. Eisenhower launched Operation Wetback. This operation made thousands of officers search the most "Mexican" looking people and demanding for their passports if they didn't have their passports they were deported back to Mexico. Obviously Mexicans, Latin Americans, and human rights groups saw this act as violation of Mexicans' human rights. Even after Operation Wetback thousands of Mexicans still crossed the border. In 1986, President Ronald Reagan, signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act which gave American citizenship to 2 million undocumented immigrants. In 2006 George W. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act, which meant about half of the U.S-Mexico border had a fence, why? 2 reasons. 1 reason was to keep up documented immigrants out and to prevent drug cartels to deport marijuana into the United States. First off the fence was ineffective because cartels did one simple thing, they threw the drugs across the fence like an American football is was that simple. Plus the immigrants could simply climb over the fence or go around it which is why Trump believes a concrete wall will make all these problems no longer U.S problems then it's Mexico's problem. So now that we're finished with the history let's see if the wall is actually possible, first the cost. Trump said thme wall will cost 4-16 billion dollars. Let's breakdown of what he said is true. Trump said it will be made out of concrete, rebar, and steel. So what matters about the price is the height of the wall but Trump has never been 100% sure of the height the wall as it changed dramatically since when he first mentioned Mexico and to the current debates. The height that Trump mentioned is about 35-90 ft tall. So we're only starting with his lowest estimate 35 ft. Also the length will be about 1,000 miles, so the concrete will cost about  $10 billion and the rebar and steel to keep the wall stable will be $5-6 billion and an additional $1 billion for concrete footing, foundations, and columns and finally another $2 billion for roads to transport those resources to actually build .So $15-20 billion we're already slightly higher than the number of money Trump proposed and we just started. So that's a lot of money to pay. But Trump said billions of times over and over saying Mexico will pay for the wall, for "multiple reasons". First the Mexican people and Mexican government said that they will not in any way pay a cent for the wall. I'm 1 reason is Trump's approval rating in Mexico is 2%, plus the 2 former presidents of Mexico said very clearly their not paying for the wall. I will say what the former presidents said word for word. Former President Felipe Calderón said "Mexican people, we are not going to pay any single cent for such a stupid wall". And Former President Vincente Fox said "I'm not going to pay for that fucking wall, he should pay for it". So no more hate towards Trump, Mexico! (For now). So the question is where would the border wall be built? Well you'll say on the border but that's easier said than done. Why? It's pretty simple. See half of Mexico's border with the U.S is a river called the Río Grande, and a 1870 treaty between Mexico and the U.S says that construction over the river is prohibited if the construction stops the normal flow of the river. Plus I forgot to mention that the land north of the Mexican states of Nuevo León, Coahuila, and Chihuahua and the southern state of Texas are privately owned, and many of the owners refused to give the  government land to build fences so the wall in the Texan border is obviously going to be a problem. So let's say it does get built and it's successful, will it help? No. There are multiple ways to get in the U.S without land, such as airplanes, ladders and boats. So what about the drugs? Well cartels use more than football practice for selling illegal substances. In Cuidad Juarez, a tunnel was found that is believed that cartels used to deport drugs across the border. So if it built or not it's not going to fix any problems.
