Have you always wondered what the largest empire in the world was? Well in the height of her power the UK in 1923 was the largest empire ever in history beating the Mongol Empire. But the reason why the UK fell was because the formation of the UN, and Britannia didn't want more millions of lives being wasted in the hands of Germany so the UK joined the UN to keep peace from another Nazi Germany or any other state threatening the world's existence. The Mongol Empire fell because even after successfully invading a crap ton of land. They couldn't control that much land well not easily anyway which led to the destruction of the Mongols and Mongolia has been annexed by China until the 1920's. The UK and it's empire left a mark on Earth. Of course the UK wasn't as it was a century ago but that mark it left for centuries is on the skin of Earth making everybody the United Kingdom's actions on Earth. Mongolia's Empire had positives and negatives, 1 a lot of people were killed. 2 European's can finally trade with the Chinese. And then the Black Death. No explanation needed for that. Japan. Japan's Empire well it's the 1940 Mongolia. Just like Mongolia Japan carved an empire with brute force. The Empire of Imperial Japan might have even been worse than the Mongols killing 8 million that might not sound a lot but that's about the population of New York City. Mongolia's Empire killed 40 million which is comparable to California. Japan used more brutal ways, such as rape, child rape, abuse, execution and much more. Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire is possibly the oldest empire in history living 600 years before the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1922. Before and after it's appearence in World War I the Ottomans did really bad things comparable to the Japanese. Before and after World War I, the Ottoman Empire committed mass Genocide to the Armenian people living in Ottoman lands. The goal to kill off the Armenians was to make Turkey all Muslim so the Ottomans kill 1.5 Million Orthodox Christian Armenians before it's downfall in 1922. The UK. The United Kingdom is possibly the worst of them all. The UK killed 100 million people from its formation in 1707 to now. Because of the wars between France and Spain between 1707-1903 and the grabs for power in land and even annexation such as the Anglo-Burmese Wars, the Anglo-Dutch Wars, the Opium Wars, 7 Years War, etc. So the largest Empire? The UK. The worst? The UK.
