I know it's late for an explanation on the recent Brexit referendum but that's not going to stop me from telling you about the Brexit referendum of 2016. First let's breakdown a misconception, Great Britain didn't leave the EU, 51% of British Citizens that are allowed to vote wanted to leave the EU but the UK still didn't leave, well not yet anyway. So the "leave the EU" team beat the "stay with EU" team because of the UK's broken election system. Ok forget London for a while, almost all of England and Wales wanted to leave while N. Ireland and Scotland wanted to stay and all of London wanted to stay so what does this mean? Destruction of the Union that lived for 3 centuries. There is a 50% chance of the UK getting annihilated because of people's stupidity, see Northern Ireland wanted to stay with the EU, so N. Ireland is staying with the EU so their is a possibility of N. Ireland seceding and joining the EU member Republic of Ireland. All of Scotland wanted to stay with the EU. And possibly can leave the UK and join the EU but this could be unlikely. Why? Because Spain. So even if Scotland successfully seceded it would be very hard for Scotland to join the EU because of good old Spain. Also London can be an enclaved country like the Vatican, San Marino, and Lesotho. So the British capital can leave the UK but that's a 15% chance of happening. The other 50% is just literally nothing happening if the UK doesn't do anything about the EU problem and forgets that the referendum exists than literally nothing will change and the old influential kingdom will stay alive for now.
