The 21st Century. The 21st Century is in an unstable state of peace. So you might never know when a country will disappear or a country appearing. In the 21st Century many countries no matter how powerful or how old it is, it has a high possibility of disappearing, let's breakdown which countries having a possibility of disappearing before the 22nd Century. And I'm not talking about countries that lose certain amounts of land, I mean countries losing their government entirely and what is left of that country is a lot of smaller countries. The United Kingdom. The UK has a lot of work to do if it would want to survive another 100 years. Anti-seperatist propaganda since the United Kingdom's creation in 1707 is giving populations in Scotland and Wales a more of desire for independence from England as they are usually overlooked as being officially part of England instead of having their own identity, and due to the controversial Brexit in 2016, Northern Ireland is wanting to secede to the Republic of Ireland a member of the EU. And during the Scottish Independence Referendum in 2014, Great Britain stayed a United Kingdom by a close call. When the union does break up the last monarch of the United Kingdom shall be the monarch of England, Northern Ireland will most likely be annexed by the Republic of Ireland, Wales will become a kingdom, and it is up to you to decide if Scotland will continue as a kingdom or a republic. Spain. Spain is on edge of economic collapse after the 2008 Global Recession, because of this Spain has a large amount of debt that it is unable to pay even with economic assistance from the EU, 1/4 of Spanish citizens are unemployed. And due to Spain's ridiculous history there are separate movements all over the entire country, such as Catalonia, Aragon, Basque, Galicia, Granada, León, Navarre, and basically every region in the country which will secede from Spain. When Spain does collapse, every single region is likely to become a republic, except for the region of Castile, which will likely keep the monarch of Spain when the country seperates. Belgium. Belgium is possibly the most divided country in the world as their are mainly 2 groups in all of Belgium, the French Belgians in the south and the Dutch Belgians in the north. The French Belgians or Wallonia is most likely going to become an independent Wallonia or France. Flanders is most likely going to be an independent nation. The Belgian monarchy is most likely going to be abolished, and the Belgian royal family will flee in exile. People's Republic of China. Communist China is an unstable nation. Even with a 2.3 million military personnel and $11,000,000,000,000 in GDP, and the Chinese Communist Party heavily cracking down in opposition, the Chinese Communist Party will have to fix overpopulation, absolute destruction of the Chinese environment, and lack of food for an ever-growing population. And many seperate movements all across the country mainly in Tibet and Xinjiang. Eventually the Chinese people had enough of the Communist government, they'll fight back, when the Chinese Communist Party finally decides to step down, a completely new party will take power, or the exiled Koumintang or the Republic of China which were exiled in Taiwan will return and fix China from the Communist wrongdoings. North Korea. Modernization is leaving North Korea every year. North Korea has a high technology disadvantage compared to the rest of the world. North Korea is an unstable nation, one small power struggle can collapse the entire government. There are 4 events that could happen after the fall of Kim Jong-Un's Korea. South Korea annex's North Korea, A new North Korean government will be formed to replace the Communist Dictatorship, or the People's Republic of China will annex North Korea. Libya. Today Libya is in chaos. Libya fails to keep the country unified. Libya came to be by the Kingdom of Italy, and it remained an Italian colony until 1951. Before Italy they were 3 indigenous regions. After Italy there was Muammar Gaddafi who kept Libya unified. And now these 3 regions are mostly self governing because of the 2nd Libyan Civil War. Maldives. The Maldives is a sinking archipelago near India and Sri Lanka. Due to the Maldivian islands sinking, the government is attempting to purchase land before the islands sink.
