News of Jayde's marriage spread like wildfire through the squad and everyone was surprised. "You got married in Vegas", Olivia asked. "Who knew about this?"
"Me, Johnny and Amanda".
Everyone looked at her wondering how she knew and they didn't. "I saw that she had new rings and I asked her about it".
"Are you staying at SVU", Fin asked.
"Yeah. Johnny's going to be back and forth between New York and California".
"Well congratulations!"
Later Olivia called her in to her office and when she got inside, she went to her desk. "I just wanted to say congratulations to you and Johnny. Marriage is something I haven't been able to experience yet. I'm also happy that you're not leaving us. I just noticed something going on between you and Barba. Is it something you want to talk about?"
"It was a misunderstanding. He asked me out for a coffee date before thanksgiving and then I came back married and he thought I had a boyfriend I never told him about –"
"And?"
"I told him that I got engaged and married after our date. We both apologized and now we're good again. Ok, it's a little more complicated than that but we're good".
She nodded. "I've known Barba for awhile. He doesn't really talk about things easily so I'm surprised you went on a coffee date".
"We both found out that we love broadway. That's how it started".
This made Olivia smile. "Well I'm happy that things are better between the two of you".
For y'all who haven't heard, I am officially Jayde Depp. Johnny and I got married over the thanksgiving weekend. I made a promise to love and honor him until death do us part. We are in love and appreciate everyone's support.
After posting this to her blog, she received a text from her stepdaughter asking her to call her. She excused herself and went into an interrogation room where she called her stepdaughter. "Hey Lily. Is everything ok?" During the call she was told that she would be in New York and she wanted to see her. "Oh good lord. I thought it was bad. Yeah I would love to see you. We need to catch up. Yes, I'm your stepmom but I'm not going to try to be your mother. I just want to be a friend to you and your brother, ok. Alright, I'll talk to you later, hon. Bye".
When she turned around, she saw Sonny and she jumped a little. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you. Is everything ok".
Jayde smiled. "Oh yeah. Lily wanted to me to call her".
"Lily?"
"My stepdaughter. It feels so weird to say that".
He smiled back. "How is being married?"
"It's great. Our families are getting used to it but they're happy for us. His team wants us to get divorced or annul the marriage. Johnny's working with them to change their minds".
"Why'd they want that?"
"Mostly because what happened with his last wife but I would never do that to him".
That night it was her and Johnny on their bed. She was laying on top of him and he flipped her over. "I love you so much". He kissed her then got on top of her before removing her top. His hands then went down to her pants and he removed them with her underwear. Her hands went up his shirt and he got up and removed it before getting back on top of her. She removed his pants and boxers. He kissed her neck as she opened her legs.
Her fingers went through his hair as he started thrusting in and out of her. She moaned as she felt each thrust. His hands went to her sides as continued thrusting inside of her. He groaned as he kissed her neck. She arched her back and moaned as she moved her hips in rhythm to his thrusts. Her body needed him and she scratched his back as she worked up to her release. "Johnny", she whimpered. He groaned as he felt himself release inside of her. He pulled out and turned over onto his back.
She smirked as she started moving in and out of him. He sat up so she was straddling him. He put her hands on her front and massaged her breasts. She moaned as her hips grinded with his. He groaned as she thrusted in and out gradually getting faster with each thrust. He needed her and his hand went to the back of her head as he kissed her. Finally he felt her release and he groaned as he released into her. He flipped her back over and he pulled out. She smiled as he laid her down on his chest. "I love you", he told her.
"I love you, too".
It was a couple weeks later that she woke up feeling sick. This did not feel like the flu or even food poisoning. Johnny came over after he heard her throw up. He winced as he watched her. "You ok, doll? Was it the food?"
"I don't think it was". She rinsed out her mouth under the faucet. It was then she realized. Her hand went to her mouth as she sat down on the edge of the tub after flushing the toilet. "I'm late".
He looked at her concerned. "You're saying you're pregnant?"
She ran her hands down her face.
That afternoon she went to the store and bought two pregnancy tests. Johnny waited outside the bathroom while she peed on the sticks. She washed her hands and let him in. Together they waited for the results. Slowly they saw two plus signs. "Positive. Both of them".
He looked at her with wide eyes. "You're pregnant?"
"Are you happy or –"
"I'm more than happy!" He hugged her and she cried into his shirt.
Later, they called everyone and told them about her pregnancy. His team weren't happy but they grew to be excited for them. The next day, she knocked on Olivia's door. "Come in, Jayde. Is everything ok?"
She went over to the chairs and sat down. "I just wanted to tell you that I'm pregnant. We found out yesterday".
"Wow congratulations! Thanks for telling me! I'm happy for you and Johnny! Just so you know, I'm going to have to put you on desk duty".
"I understand. Thank you".
