Four words: will you marry me? It had been 3 months since he proposed but they weren't getting anywhere with their wedding plans. All they agreed on was a small wedding with the squad and his mother. They loved each other and they were ready to spend the rest of their lives together but they knew this would be a long engagement. Right now they were on their bed. The kids were visiting his mother for the weekend to give them a break.
He looked at his fiancé. She was so beautiful. He pulled some of her hair back. She turned on her side to look at him. He kissed her and pulled her closer. She smirked knowing what he wanted. After rolling on top of her, he started kissing her neck then stopped to ask permission to continue. "Keep going", she told him. Her hands removed his shirt and pants, then his boxers. He smirked. "Do you ever think of having another baby?"
"If we get to do what we did last night, I would say yes".
That night they were at the annual amfAR gala. They were both dressed up and ready to go. Rafael put his hand on her waist as they waited to get inside. When they got inside and to their table, they saw that Anthony Rapp's name beside hers. Maybe it was just coincidence, she thought. Rafael gave her a look and she whispered that if he was good, she would reward him when they got home. He smirked and kissed her cheek. "I promise I'll be nice". She laughed. It was then she saw Anthony. He came over and gave her a hug. "You remember, Anthony", Rafael got up and shook his hand. "Nice to see you again".
He sat down then he noticed that she was wearing the necklace he had given her. "You still have the necklace". He pointed to it around her neck. She smiled. "Of course. I keep it in my jewelry box".
"I heard you have a new job. Congratulations! What are you doing again?"
"Thank you. I'm a forensic psychologist at Mercy General. I work with children who have been abused in some way. If a child comes in to the hospital and the doctor suspects abuse, they call me or they assign kids to me that they already know have been abused".
He cocked his eyebrows. "Wow. That's hard work".
Rafael smiled. "Well if anyone could do it, it would be her".
During the gala, they heard speakers talk about the importance of AIDS research and funding. During breaks, they talked more with Anthony. "One time we were at home, I don't know if you –", she motioned to Rafael. "Were there and I forgot what the conversation was or whatever, but Steven sighed really dramatically and he was like, 'I don't even know'". Both Anthony and Rafael laughed.
"I could totally see him doing that", Rafael agreed.
"It's like, 'You're 3. You're life isn't that hard'".
"It's amazing how much kids pick up and you don't realize it until they say or do something", Anthony said.
"Yeah I've realized that. He's probably the most dramatic toddler I've seen".
"Maybe he'll be an actor or something".
She and Rafael looked at each other. "He probably will. I don't think Johnny would want him to be an actor. He'd probably try and talk him out of it".
Another great night at the amfAR gala but this year I had a date. Both Rafael and I ran into Anthony Rapp and we got to talk with him. He's always a cool guy to talk to and we caught up on our lives. Now it's time for bed. I'll post pictures tomorrow.
When they got home, Rafael kissed her and she backed into the wall. Her dress was off in one move and he removed her underwear. She moaned as he removed his pants and underwear.
