Thomas // He got the girl

"So how was it to work with Dylan?" The woman who was interviewing us said.

It had been Ki Hong, Rosa, Dylan, me, Thomas and Dexter lined on the couch in that order. We had already been doing this interview for an hour when she asked this question.

"Oh Dylan is amazing to work with except for the constant teasing," I smirked and noticed Thomas on the other side of the couch with his eyes on me.

"Oh he's a great guy. He's fun to work with," Ki Hong said.

"He's one of the best guys you'll ever meet," Thomas smiled as a couple 'awws' came from the interviewer.

I know it shouldn't faze me but she was constantly flirting with Thomas the whole interview. But we weren't even together so it's not like I had any reason to be jealous. Except for the fact that I've loved him since the day I met him but I've learned to deal with those heart wrenching feelings.

"Okay so for now," the woman said breaking me out of my head not realizing the other had spoken. "(Y/N) here is going to switch over to him."

She pointed at a tall, and decent looking man with a microphone and a long grin. "Bye guys."

As I walked over, I heard the girls next question. "So what do you think about (Y/N)?"

Thomas's POV

"So what do you think about (Y/N)?" My mind went blank except for the way i felt about her. I loved her.

"She's so fun to be around. Once her and I snuck around the building playing spies for an hour and half," Rosa laughed.

"Oh (Y/N)'s amazing. She's so funny but she laughs at almost everything," Dexter chuckled.

"There were times where she'd have to be escorted off camera to calm herself after something Alex or Dylan did," Ki Hong laughed as i felt a sudden burn to my cheeks.

(Y/N) would always laugh at whatever Dylan did and it always made me jealous. Especially right now when i watched her walk over to the new man who was going to interview her.

He was eyeing her up and down and I could tell he was flirting. I couldn't stop them considering we're not together not but I-

"I think we lost Tommy," Dylan laughed. "You see he's had this huge crush on (Y/N) for forever."

My cheeks flushed red as Dexter continued this awkward and embarrassing conversation. "Yeah we've nicknamed him shadow since he always follows her everywhere."

"It's adorable watching him!" Rosa squealed as i noticed (Y/N) turned around smiling at her. "He's tried to impress her a hundred times and she does it back. They both are in love but just don't know the other loves them."

"Okay well then Thomas," the interviewer began but i worriedly kept my eyes on (Y/N). "Why haven't you asked her out?"

"I-i don't kn- what?" I stuttered as I stared at her, admiring how her makeup was done to her perfect style. Her dress hugged the curves of her body nicely, accentuating her beautiful figure.

"Alright well that's all the time we have. It was wonderful meeting the Scorch Trials cast," she cheered, switched off the large camera and left the room.

(Y/N) had still been standing on the opposite side of this one with the other mans eyes clung to her. Why could I look at her like that or more importantly why can't she look at me like that.

"Hey there Tommy," Dylan said placing his hand on my shoulder. "Go ask her."

"No I couldn't. She wouldn't want to-," I began but Dylan cut me off like usual.

"I've talked to Kaya, her best friend Thomas, and she likes you. Go get your girl."

He pushed my back as I stumbled a little forward before catching my footing. I sauntered to her with my head hung low as I tapped her twice on the shoulder.

"It was great doing this (Y/N). I hope we can see each other again," the man chuckled through a wink as I felt every part of me burn. I couldn't do this.

"Sorry but I'm not so sure about that. But thanks for the interview," she smiled at him innocently as I couldn't help but smirk at her.

She spun around and looked almost shocked as she looked at me when her cheeks grew red. "Hey Tommy."

"(Y/N) there's something I want to ask you,"
I blurted as I saw her eyes go wide before looking down in shame. What did she think I was going to say?

"I really like you. For a long time actually and I've always wanted to be with you. (Y/N) can you- will you be my girlfriend?" Her head sat up as she looked to have tears in her eyes. "I didn't mean to make you cry. I'm sorry."

"No Tommy I'm happy. I like you too," she said shyly.

"May I kiss you?" She slowly placed her hand on my neck a little weakly as if she was nervous but I was the one who was a wreck.

"You can," she giggled as I slipped my hands on her waist and pulled her into my chest.

Our lips touched almost too light before she pulled onto me and deepened the kiss. Fireworks shot around me as I took the pace and moved our lips in sync.

"Finally!" Someone yelled behind Thomas as he broke the kiss and turned to see our friends cheering.

"Hey let them finish," Rosa yelled as i pulled (Y/N) back to my lips for a deeper kiss.

"I've wanted to do that for years," I panted a little out of breath from our intense kiss.

"Well now you can do it whenever," she giggled and took my hand.

We went back into the group as Rosa gave (Y/N) a million winks while Dylan did the same to me. I could feel her eyes rolling as she grabbed a bottle of water from the table where Rosa followed behind gossiping about us.

"You did it Tom," Ki Hong said placing his hands on my shoulder.

I did it. I got the girl I've loved.
