"Hey, love?" Thomas asked as I entered our living room. He was sprawled out on the couch with a new script in his hands. His hair was messy which matched nicely with his sweatpants and Star Wars tee.

"Yes, babe?" I asked sitting between his legs since they were over the edge and top of the couch cushions.

"Can you run lines with me? I know I hate asking you but please, this one time?" He begged, putting both of his hands over mine. He didn't like asking me to help him read the lines since he said I have "no talent for acting".

"But I thought you hated my acting?" I giggled and poked his hard stomach. He didn't seem fazed by it though.

"I don't hate it, it's just... not the best," he said trying to smooth over the insult. "But please? I really need your help with this one. My brains klunk and I'm having trouble reading. Usually my mum used to help me read through it but-"

"Tommy," I put my hand over his so he would stop talking. "I'll help you. Just calm down."

He smiled and picked up a second script from the floor. He had his parts highlighted in bright yellow so it was easier for him to focus. He had small sticky notes hanging off the sides with little descriptions of how he or the director wanted the scene to go. It was adorable how much energy he put into his movies. It showed how dedicated he was about it.

"Start from page 78. I have most of it down until then. I need you to read all of Miya's lines and I'll read Luke's. Got it?" He said as I flipped through the giant book until the right page was found. He had little scribbles next to his lines saying small details the script missed.

"Got it. Ready when you are Luke," I said and fake saluted him. He just laughed and sat upright.

"Okay, so in this scene Miya just told Luke that she's leaving for college that next week so everyone will be crying. Just read it like you're sad, okay?" I nodded and waited for his signal to begin.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? You've seen me everyday for two months and you wait until a week before you go to tell me?" He yelled putting energy into the words printed on the paper.

"I'm sorry, Luke, but i didn't know how to tell you. We were doing so good that I didn't want to ruin it," I said reading the lines. They weren't too long which seemed like it would be easier on Thomas when filming came.

"Ruin it?" He asked with venom laced in his voice. Damn, he was good. "You lied to me. For months you made me feel... You made me think you cared about me."

"No, no, I do care about you! Luke I do! I didn't want to hurt you!" I yelled since the script had an exclamation point at the end.

"No you don't! You don't care about me! And I loved you. I love you! Why couldn't you have just been honest with me?" His face turned from the red angry face to the teary eyed pale one. Wow he was good at what he does, and it continued to amaze me.

"You love me?" I asked quieter and calmer.

"Of course I love you. How could I not? You've been my best friend for ten years, Miya. I love everything about you," he said smiling. I looked down at the words but froze when my eyes came across italicized ones.

Miya and Luke kiss.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)?" Thomas said shaking me lightly. "It's your line."

"You... you two kiss?" I asked ignoring the next three lines between where he left off and the words that made my throat tighten.

"Oh I knew I was forgetting to tell you something," he said running his hands through his hair. That was something that would usually make me smile but right now I couldn't. He had never been in a movie where he had to kiss his co-star before. Ever. I mean in Love Actually, Joanna gave him a kiss on the cheek, but that wasn't like this. This was different.

"Love, there are only two kisses in the whole movie and they last like five seconds. The girl and I are completely professional, love. Nothing is going to happen. Trust me," he said lifting my chin off the paper.

"But you still have to kiss her. What if- what if she tries to make it longer? Or you both enjoy it so much that you do it again? Or what if-" he cut me off by pressing his lips to mine.

He cupped my cheek and placed his thumb over my lips so I couldn't talk.

"I'm kissing you because I love you. I'm kissing her because this paper says so. Nothing more, alright?" He said. I nodded shyly and put my hand on his neck. "Tell you what," I looked up and nodded again, "what if you come with me and see that nothing is happening? You can sit with the other cast members and see how professional this small kiss will be. Alright?"

"Okay," I said quietly. He grinned and pulled me onto his lap, making me squeal and then giggle. He sat me back between his legs with my head on his chest and his arms tightly wrapped around me. He kisses the top of my head.

"Don't worry, love. I'm yours, and yours only."

Thomas had our fingers laced as we walked onto the set. It was only a thirty minute drive from our house so the car ride was spent wiping my sweaty hands on my jeans a hundred times.

"Love, look at me," Thomas said rubbing my arms. He knew how nervous I was to watch this. I mean I should be, right? I'm gonna watch my boyfriend kiss another girl in front of fifty people. Shouldn't I be worried?

"It's a small kiss that means nothing. I love you, alright?" I nodded and let him kiss me on the nose so my face would scrunch up and my cheeks would burn red. Only a second later, his name was called by the director.

"Good luck, Tommy," I said.

"I gotta kiss you before I go," he said leaving a passionate and lingering kiss on my lips. He smiled and ran to the director who instructed him where to stand for the scene.

His co-star then walked on. She was a short girl with long straight brown hair reaching halfway down her back. She had her bangs pinned behind her head to show off her brown eyes. She really was a beautiful girl. (Y/N), stay calm. Thomas loves you.

"I don't like this," a girl grumbled beside me. She had her hands over her chest and her jaw clenched. Her eyes were sending daggers at both the director and Thomas. She then shook it off and looked at me.

She held her hand out for me to shake. "I'm Lyla. You're (Y/N), right? Thomas's girlfriend." I nodded and shook her hand.

"That would be me," I said smiling.

"I can tell you're about as upset as I am about this," she said turning back the the actors.

"Yeah, I'm not really happy watching my boyfriend kiss another girl," I said rubbing my arms nervously. The director called action and the two began the scene he and I practiced.

"At least Thomas has a girl to kiss. She's stuck kissing a guy," she said pretending to shiver.

"What do you mean?" I asked raising an eyebrow. She chuckled and looked over at me.

"I'm Lyla, her girlfriend," she emphasized the word 'girlfriend'.

It felt wrong when a large grin spread over my face. She was a taken girl. She was in the same boat as Thomas was which only made me smile wider.

"I'm assuming you didn't know," Lyla said. "Yeah we're not as famous as you and Thomas are. We like to stay quiet mostly to keep from the news and such. We're just cute like that."

I looked back to Thomas who was leaning into Madison -his co-star. I looked away still not wanting to watch it but smiled when I looked at Lyla doing the same thing. We laughed and spun around to keep from seeing anything else.

"Cut!" The director yelled. Madison and Thomas ran off the stage and two the two of us. Madison immediately kissed Lyla who lifted her off the ground.

"Hi Tommy," I said as he lifted me off the ground and spun me around once. He set me down and kissed me again.

"You okay?" He asked looking over at the couple who were still kissing.

"I'm good," I said holding his cheek. "No need to be jealous."

He pulled me into his chest and held the back of my head. "That's my girl."
