"Tommy, come to bed with me," I begged. I wrapped my arms around Thomas's neck from behind and slipped my hands down his chest. He had been studying his script for the Maze Runner since he came home hours ago. It was late now and I had already been up for hours."But I need to get this right, love. I need to get this one perfect. I haven't had a lead role in a long time and I can't screw this up," he said keeping his eyes on the pages.
I spun him around so he was forced to face me. I lifted his chin from the pages until his tired and worn out eyes met mine.
"You're gonna nail this part just like you do all of them. You know these lines like the back of your hand so stop stressing and come to bed with me." He debated my offer before setting his pages down and stood up.
He smirked widely before sweeping me off my feet and into his arms. We laughed while he set me inside our bed and climbed in with me. He pulled our faces together until our forehead were pressed together. We tangled our legs under the sheets with one of our hands intertwined and the other wrapped around each other's hips.
Our eyes met as we took in the quiet of our house. We moved in together two years ago after dating for three. We had gone to high school together, so when we graduated, naturally we stayed close together while we finished college in London.
He had left only a few times to go to America for an acting job, but this time he brought me with him so we didn't have to be apart for so long. We're renting a small house in the outskirts of Hollywood to keep his privacy.
We just laid inside our bed, tangled together with our eyes darting from one to the other. We were perfectly content lying together in silence.
That was until Thomas suddenly turns away and violently sneezed. I was so startled by the sudden noise, I fell off the corner of the bed and landed on the hard floor.
"Oh, love! I'm sorry," he said leaning over the bed looking down at me.
"Curse you, Sangster," I say trying to pretend to be mad at him.
"You love me," he smirks and held his hand out for me. He pulled me back into the bed but this time pulled my back into his front. We fell asleep finally without another sneeze to scare me.

I had only been lying in bed for a few hours when I realized I couldn't sleep. Thomas was snoring quietly into my shoulder with his arms still wrapped around my waist. I rolled over until I was lying on my back and his head was now rested in my neck.
"Hey Tommy," I whispered when I had a sudden question come to mind. He remained asleep with drool falling onto my neck. He was adorable when he slept, but he was still gross.
"Psst. Tommy." I poked his nose a few times until he groaned and cuddled into the side of my body.
"What, love?" He moaned groggily, still half asleep.
"Do you think penguins can dance?" He sat upright with his eyes half open and his eyebrows furrowed.
"What?" He asked obviously confused.
"You know like in the movie. Do you think they really can dance?" He stared at me as if I had three heads before grabbing a pillow from the head of the bed as slamming it into my face.
"I hate you, love," he said before curling back into my arm to resume his deep sleep.
"You love me," I remarked and wrapped my arms around him so he could cuddle into me.
"If you wake me up again, I'll make sure to break your favorite Star Wars mug," he threatened with his eyes closed. I fake gasped and pretended to sleep with our heads together. He chuckled and fell back asleep.
