Today was a really exciting day: my best friend was getting married! Kaya had met her fiancé, Dylan, on the set of her latest movie The Maze Runner. They met and instantly hit it off. That's how after only one year of dating, they were engaged.

Kaya was nervously running through every list she made to help organize this big event. She was right now on the list of how we were supposed to be stood at the alter since she had three bridesmaids and the groom had three boys following behind him.

"Kaya, calm down alright. Everything's gonna be fine," I said beside her other friend Madeline who was finishing curling her hair.

"I know, I know," she mumbled. She had been planning this wedding for three months and everything was turning out perfect. The decorations were perfectly placed, the food was already prepared and everyone was already in their seats. Nothing could go wrong. But then it did.

"Oh no!" She said hitting her forehead with her palm. Her sudden outburst caused Madeline to smear her red lip stick down her cheek.

I stifled a laugh and went to comfort Kaya. "What's wrong?"

"I forgot to tell you something," she mumbled nervously. Oh no. Was she having second thoughts about me being her maid of honor? Was she not wanting me to stand at the end with her? Did she not want me at the wedding at all? Okay, calm down. That's not happening.

"Well... I paired you up with someone to walk down with since you don't have a boyfriend."

I groaned and started getting angry. I hadn't realized that each bridesmaid had their boyfriends to walk them to the end. I was single, but that still meant someone had to walk me down.

She noticed my anger and quickly tried to recover. "Don't worry! He's really nice and sweet and pretty shy like you."

"Who is he?" She didn't answer right away so I knew now she was hiding something big. Who could it possibly be?

"Thomas Sangster," she answered.

My jaw dropped. NO WAY! Thomas Brodie-Sangster was inside this building and he would walk me down a wedding isle? Oh no. That's not happening. I would make a fool out of myself!

"Kaya! No, no! I can't," I said shaking my head. I backed away while crossing my arms over my chest. "I can't walk with a god like Thomas Sangster! I'll probably trip him and we'll knock over a candle and set the whole place on fire!"

She just laughed and took out her phone. "(Y/N), there aren't any real candles in here anyway. They're all fake. And we need you to do this. We figured it was smart to pair up the maid of honor and best man together. Plus, you're both single!"

"Kaya, I can't," I whined but she just rolled her eyes.

"You have to. It's already settled. Now, lets go rock this joint!" She said throwing her hands in the air. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad?

Madeline and I followed her out of the room and to the main hall where the double doors to the church were. On the other side were each of their families and friends gathering for the celebration. I stayed to the back with the other girls while trying my best to avoid Thomas. Was he okay with this? Or did he not know?

"Okay let's get in order," Mark, the wedding coordinator, announced while everyone began lining up.

"Megan and Marcus," he said passing the first couple while reading out the order of the couples. "Laura and Ben, Jessica and Logan, and (Y/N) and Thomas."

Kaya was in a small conversation with me when Mark called my name. I immediately blushed and shut my mouth, making Kaya laugh at me.

"Knock em' dead, girl," she said pushing me towards the row. I stood behind the previous girl with my hands fidgeting in front of me. I mentally squeaked when a body stood beside me. I didn't have to look over to know who it was. Thomas.
