It wasn't my first choice to come to a bar tonight but after my friend begged me to be her ride so she could see her boyfriend, I accepted. Only now she left with him, leaving me alone with a bottle of beer in my hand.

I was sat at the corner of the row rubbing the condensation on the sides of the bottle. Across the bar, an older man with peppered hair had his eyes on me. He was creeping me out with his tongue licking his lips constantly. I just adverted my attention my glass and pushed my hair in front of my face.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?" A slick voice said beside me. The creepy man was towering over me with a glass of whiskey in his hand.

"That's your line?" I scoffed and turned back towards the my drink.

"Oh that was just to rope you in. Now I'll sweet talk you up," he purred making me shift uncomfortably in my seat. "So that dress looks good on you, but I bet it would look better on my bedroom floor."

"Please go away," i said shyly. I had never been in a situation like this so i honestly didn't know how to fight back.

"Oh but baby I could make you feel so good," he put his hand on my neck while pushing my hair back, "don't you like my hand here." He took his other hand and placed it on my upper thigh. "I bet you would like it more if I moved it here." He slid it up higher making me push his hand back but it wouldn't budge.

Kaya's POV

"Kaya, can you get me a beer," Thomas asked as we found a small table in the corner of the bar. I was getting myself a beer and now, one for Thomas.

I ordered them and as I waited, I noticed a girl at the end. She looked about my age but scared. An older man had his hands all over her and she was pushing him back but he wasn't moving. I had to help her.

I ran over and decided to do what I do best: act.

"OMG! Girl is that you?" The two turned back to me with two different expressions. The man looked agitated and the girl looked desperate. "I haven't seen you for ages! How have you been? Oh we have to catch up! Come on let's have a drink!" I grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the man.

"My name's Kaya. Just go with it," i whispered as I noticed the man following us. "It's been so long since we've been together! It's been what... three years? Wow you look beautiful as ever! Anything new with you?" I stopped talking when I saw the man angrily leave the bar.

"Thank you. Thank you so much," she cried hugging me tightly.

"Of course. I have to help out my fellow girl. And he was creepy," I smiled and took the two beers from the bar too. "Wanna come sit with me and my friends? I promise we'll protect you."

She smiled. "If its not too much trouble."

"Oh not at all. Here, you take this unless you want something stronger." I handed her the beer meant for Thomas.

"This is fine. Thank you so much," she smiled and hugged me again.

(Y/N)'s POV

Kaya led me to the back of the bar where a large table was filled with boys. They all looked familiar but I wasn't sure from where. Maybe I was imagining it. I was just too relieved that she saved me.

"Hello boys," she smiled as they looked up at her. They all shifted their eyes to me making me blush.

"Kaya, we asked for a drink not a beautiful girl," one dark skinned boy said making me blush harder.

"Guys this is... um I don't think I got your name," Kaya said to me.

"(Y/N). It's (Y/N)," I said rubbing my arm with my hand. I was nervous and I'm sure the boys could tell.

"There was a creepy guy hitting on her and I said she could come with us. Is that okay?" Kaya explained. The boys gave all short responses while pulling out chairs for us.

"Sure."

"That's fine. Let her by me."

"Of course."

"Yeah, yeah."

The boys pulled a chair out for me and let me sit. Then the boys explained each of their names meaning I was sitting next to Thomas and Kaya. Thomas was a really cute boy and I knew I had seen him before. I also could see him staring at me, but not like the other man. He looked at me with a small smile and a face of admiration and red cheeks. Every time I caught him, he would advert his attention somewhere else as if I didn't catch him.

I smiled back at him with my own red cheeks.

"I think we lost, Tommy," Dexter said but our eyes stayed locked together.

"What do you think of her, Tom?" Ki Hong asked him.

"He's still out of it," Will laughed. "Here I have an idea." Will stood up and grabbed my hand as well as Thomas's. He pulled us over to a table across the other table and set us beside each other. "Now you two kids have fun." With that, Will was gone.

"Hi," Thomas said beside me.

"Hi," I smiled.

We talked for hours at that bar, not realizing the others had left. We had ordered a couple drinks and flirted most of the night. Now we were sitting with my leg crossed over his and his hand on my inner thigh.

"Wanna come back to mine?" He whispered in my ear sending chills up my spine.

"Definitely," I breathed a little out of breath imagining from being this close to him. I knew this was leading somewhere, relationship wise, and that just made me happy I came to the bar today.
