* This imagine was requested by CarbQueen Simon Brown is the character Thomas Sangster plays in the movie Nanny McPhee. In this movie, Simon is a young kid so for this imagine, (Y/N) will be around 10 or 11 years old. I hope you like this one and I'm sorry it took so long! *

"Why don't you go over and meet the new neighbors. I heard they have seven children around your age," my mother said, setting a large box on the floor beside my bed. This move wouldn't have been as terrible if we didn't move to the middle of nowhere with only one house for miles.

I kissed my mother's cheek before running down the steps and skipping over to the house beside ours. There's was fairly larger and had mismatched colored paints on every wall and decorative window.

I knocked on the door twice and held my arms behind my back, waiting for someone to answer. It took a whole minute before the door swung open. A boy who looked around my age with fluffy blond hair and dazzling brown eyes stood in the doorway.

"Who are you?" He asked tilting his head slightly to the left

"Who are you?" He asked tilting his head slightly to the left.

"My names (Y/N)," I said happily and held my hand out for him to shake. "I just moved in next door."

"I'm Simon." He shook my hand with a bright smile. "I never thought anyone would move in there. It's old and filled with spiders." He grimaced and let me come inside. The inside was just as colorfully decorated but there were toys and clothes thrown askew about the room.

"I haven't seen any spiders yet. Maybe they left when we got there," I said giggling.

"Wanna meet my brothers and sisters?" I nodded and followed him throughout the house until we arrived in their dining room. He had four sisters and two brothers who were all eating toast and jam. The girls, minus the baby girl in a small crib, excitedly rushed over to me.

"This is (Y/N). She just moved in next door," Simon told them.

"Hi, I'm Tora," the eldest girl smiled. She then pointed to each of her siblings and told me their names. Each of them had bright smiles and a small wave to give to me.

"Hey," Simon asked, tugging on my arm. The smirk plastered on his face told me just how bad these kids were. "Do you wanna have fun?"

-----

It took only half an hour before the kids brilliantly tricked the cook and had her tied up on the kitchen table. It was clear from how defensive the cook was that this wasn't their first time causing trouble.

Simon and I were standing by the stove mixing a pot of soup filled with the clean socks Tora was pulling from the line. Chrissie was loading a launcher with different vegetables for Lily to catapult into our pot, while Eric sat on the floor making green colored bombs and Sebastian was eating more toast and jam.

Their maid, Evangeline, was cowering in the corner of the room while things were being thrown. Obviously, she didn't know how to control them, along with the seventeen nannies that quit.

We were all having fun until a woman walked into the room. The woman had a hideous face with a large nose and two gross warts and an ugly hat on her head. Simon and I exchanged a look before looking back at this woman.

"I am Nanny McPhee," she announced in a hushed tone. It was a surprise I could hear her over Chrissie's shouting. "You kids are to tidy up the kitchen and go to bed."

Simon laughed beside me. "Oh look! The doors open and there's nobody there." We all laughed but quickly stopped when the woman held out the long staff she had in her hands. Chrissie slowly stopped her chanting until the only noise in the room was the boiling of the pot in front of me.

Nanny McPhee raised her staff in the air, before banging it down on the floor. Suddenly, everything we were doing went into fast forward. Simon and I started stiring the soup twice as fast as before and Chrissie wasn't looking at what she was picking up, so different utensils were being tossed into the pot.

"I can't stop!" I yelled. I tried to get my arms to stop stirring but it was like a force was keeping me from stopping.

"She's a witch! It's that staff!" Eric yelled from the floor. At any moment, his bomb would blow up right in the center of the room. On the other side of the room, Chrissie had two items in line from launching their baby sister Aggie into the boiling pot.

"Alright whoever you are! Let's stop this then and go to bed!" Simon yelled directing it at the woman.

"Say please," she said in a calm voice. How could she be so calm about this?

"I never say please!" Simon screamed back. Everyone, including me but excluding Simon, screamed 'please' at the woman.

"Simon! Say it!" I yelled at him. He was glaring at Nanny McPhee who was staring right at him too.

"Please," he finally mumbled. Chrissie had already set Aggie into the launcher and Lily was walking up the few steps.

"Say please, Nanny McPhee."

Eric and Tora screamed something when Simon angrily whispered, "please, Nanny McPhee." At that same moment, Eric's bomb blew up, covering the room in green.

In a blink, everything was fine. The room was spotless and Aggie was sitting gently in Tora's arms. My dress was back to it's original color of peach instead of the green from the bomb.

Nanny McPhee explained how she would be staying with them as their new nanny before the kids went upstairs to get ready for bed. Simon walked me to the front door where he stood with me on the porch.

"That's never happened before," Simon said suddenly. "Normally, the nannies run out of there screaming all the way to town."

"It was fun," I laughed. "I gotta go, but I hope I can play again soon." I leaned over and pressed a soft kiss on Simon's cheek. His face immediately turned red and he put his hand on the spot I kissed.

"Maybe you can play with us again tomorrow?" He asked. A light shade of pink filled my cheeks as I shyly smiled. I ran back to my house shouting, "I'll see you tomorrow!"
