* So I wrote the first part a very long time ago but you don't really need to read the first part to read this one. This imagine (just like the first part) was requested by MagicCrank16 I really hope you like it and I'm so sorry for how long it took for me to post it! I wrote it in a different style than I usually do and I'm not sure how I feel about it. *

Entry 1

You weren't planned. You were a surprise to me and your father but that doesn't mean you were an accident like your uncles will try planting into your head as a joke (don't believe them).

Your father could not have been more excited. He spread the news around the glade faster than Minho runs in the maze. By that night, every glader had heard the news and congratulated the two of us with a hug or a pat on the back. One of our friends even offered me a glass of Gally's drink (that earned him a swift hit to the back of his head from your father).

You will be born into something awful, my love, but its the hand we were dealt. We won't have a white picket fence with a dog running around and soccer practice to get to- we'll have wood houses and a maze trapping us from the domestic things. We learn to make do, but I worry that it won't be enough for you.

I'm scared. It is about the worst thing to say as a parent but I am scared. Scared something will happen in this unpredictable place that will ruin everything we have worked so hard to build- will ruin the life I want to give to you.

I can't promise that everything will go well in your little life, but I can promise to do everything in my power to keep you safe. You are my body as of right now and when you are born, I will protect you with every ounce of my body.

You will soon find out that your family is messed up. You will have one mother, one father, and 40 uncles. They're silly, loud, immature, and occasionally violent, but they're some of the best boys you will ever meet.

Uncle Alby will make sure everyone is careful around you since he is the controlling one of the group. Uncle Gally will make sure you have every toy you need- as long as it can be made out of wood. Uncle Minho will play with you until you're too tired to laugh at his silly jokes anymore. Uncle Frypan (yes he has a silly name, yes I will explain if you're curious) will cook you the most delicious (not really but you won't know any better) meals until your little tummy is stuffed.

Your father will be the best though. I can't wait till your older to tell you every story of your father. He is the most amazing boy I have ever known and he will be an even better father. You could not have a better father than him.

I have only known of you for a day, but I can already feel how you will change our lives here. You will bring happiness to a place that doesn't usually have it. I can't wait to meet you.

Entry 26

Your uncles have gone overboard. They wanted you to be comfortable when you got here, but they definitely over did it. Your father and I were given our own hut to raise you in (as to be expected) but the rocking chair, crib, changing table, and chest that went along with it was maybe too much.

Everyone's just excited to see you. None of us can really remember a baby (another story I'll tell you when you're older) so everyone is eagerly awaiting the day we get to see one again; although no one is gonna be quick to volunteer when you klunk your diaper for the first time.

Uncle Alby has also requested to the Creators at least 30 items for you. The Creators have only sent up half, but we're sure that over these months that you're growing they will send it up. We already have tons of stuff but their motto is, 'you can never have too much stuff for a baby greenie'. You will have more than enough stuff when you get here but I guess more is more for a baby.

It's only been a few weeks since I found out about you and a small bump is forming. It mostly looks like I'm bloated all the time but your father assures me that he thinks I'm beautiful like this, especially since I'm carrying you. I can't wait to meet you.

Entry 117

A lot has happened, my love, and I'm sorry. This was supposed to happen a long time ago but not now- not when we have built so much for you. We were supposed to escape the maze years ago or years to come, not today of all days.

The day started out wonderfully- well not wonderfully but you gave us something special in a time of absolute rock bottom. You kicked for the first time this morning and your father was freaking out.

He rushed into the room as fast as he could when I called his name because he thought something bad was happening. He saw me crying and smiling and made this confused face (you'll definitely see it a hundred times and I hope you find it as funny as I do).

I told him I felt you kicking but he still was in shock. I had to put his hand on my stomach and let him feel it himself. He cried while whispering, "that's our baby, that's our baby," over and over again until he kissed me. Now I won't go into mushy stuff cause you'll see enough of it throughout your life.

Then the bad things happened. I want to keep these nice so I'll you the details another time but something bad happened. You lost many of your uncles today, my love. They all fought bravely, like knights protecting a princess, only they lost the battle. I wish you could have met them but luck is not in our favor.

We were taken somewhere safe with real food, adults and doctors that made sure to check you before checking any of the other boys. They said you were healthy and asked if I wanted to know your gender. I told them no; your father and I want it to be a surprise.

You've gotten so big and you're only growing every day. I can't wait to meet you.

Entry 250

The day came and none of us were prepared, even after months of preparation. It was the middle of the night when your father poked me on the cheek asking if I had wet myself while I was sleeping. 16 hours later, your tiny body was swaddled in cloth and placed delicately over my chest.

You're a girl. A tiny, innocent baby girl. The doctor placed you in a soft pink blanket that had almost everyone crying when they saw it. You're a misfit in a group of teenage boys but misfits are the best kind of people.

There was not a single dry eye in that hospital room. Your father was a wreck, balling his eyes out while squeezing into the tiny bit of space on my hospital bed to be closer to you and me. He wouldn't even let your uncles hold you until he had his turn.

Just like the glade, we were given a house with all the necessities to raise you, only most of them were made of metal instead of wood and weren't hand made. This safe haven had everything we needed without the help of the Builders.

You're family has severely downsized but you have some new family too (GIRLS!) You have four new aunts, one of them being your blood relative when we found out your father has a real sister. Your little family is growing and in this new place, it will continue to grow. You don't need protectors anymore, all you need is family.

We're safe here, safe from the dangers we were stuck with when I first found out about you. You have brought happiness to your uncles, aunts and your father more than you know. I'm so glad I met you, Rosie.

Love, your mother
