I strode into Nitro's room to wake her up for breakfast. She had overslept. And I figured I could apologize. But as I neared closer, I saw a roll of cash on her drawer. I picked it up, and she rolled over, waking up.

She was shocked to find me there, and I found myself blushing.
"H-hey."

"Where were you last night?"

She noticed the money in my hand.
"I went to a little party..."

"Oh yeah? And who's G?!"
I demanded, picking up the note on the floor and throwing it at her.

"Okay, listen..."

"No, Nitro! I keep listening, but you never tell me what's actually happening! You just... lie about it!"
I yelled, and she sat up in bed.

"It's not like you care!"
She shot back, and I flinched.

"Of course I do."
My voice softened.

"Now you're the liar."

"I'm not lying, I care about you. I just want to know where this money came from, and who you were with."

"I told you, I went to a party."

"Did you get into a fight?"
He looked at my shirt, lifted from sleep. Nyma's blast was visible.

"Well..."

"Nitro, you're not a boxer! You can't do this for money, I won't let you. Now, who were you with?"
I groaned, resting my hand on my forehead, defeated.

"This guy."
She admitted sheepishly, and anyone could tell that she liked him. I felt a pang of dread shoot through me.

"G?"

"No. I found out someone who has been apparently looking for me. Working for Galra, Haggar's apprentice. I know her, I think if I had the chance, I could end all of this. I could end the Empire."

"Nitro, you're not allowed out anymore." I commanded defensively.

"Keith, I'm so close!"

"Too close! What if you get hurt-"

"Why are you still acting like you care? Stop trying to keep me away, and let me do this for Voltron."
She pushed me out of the way, storming to the bathroom angrily.

I slammed her back against the wall, pinning her hands at her sides.

"You're not fighting anymore."

"Watch me!"

"You're going to be sorry..."
I growled in her ear, tightening my grip around her wrists.

"Keith! Let go of me!"

"No. You're going to learn to follow orders, starting now."

"You're hurting me..."
She winced, and I stopped.

"Get off!"
Nitro shoved me away.

I released her, horrified with myself.
"I didn't mean... I'm sorry..."

She rubbed the red marks around her wrists and ran away from me.
"Don't talk to me again!"

I had made things even worse. And I'd hurt Nitro, something I'd never meant to do in the first place.

"Quiznack!"
I screamed, punching the wall.

My fist bled, those walls were concrete hard. I screamed again, in pain this time. I hated myself, probably more than Nitro hated me.
