I heard Nitro run behind me.
I felt her hand grab my shoulder.
"Shiro, we weren't doing anything wrong, I swear. Keith barely knows what a girl is."
"Mr. (L/n) isn't here, and you know what that means. I worked under him. I have immense respect for your father, and as a result, I think I owe it to him to keep his daughter away from danger."
"We're fighting a war, Shiro!"
"I know. So it would be best not to lose focus because of someone."
"You like Allura."
It was completely unexpected.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Nitro."
"C'mon, Shiro. You're lying through your teeth."
"As your leader, I am responsible for keeping my feelings private."
"Then how can you expect me to trust you?"
She countered.
I remembered that Mr. (L/n) had made her compete in a speech and debate team for competitions.
That's how she got so snarky...
I thought.
"I expect you to trust me because we're a team now."
She tried to bargain.
"Fine. Just... keep this between us. Keith doesn't need to know about my father, or vice versa."
"But don't you like him?"
I tried, a little curious.
She sassed back, smirking.
"As your teammate, I am responsible for keeping my feelings private."
