I walked into Nitro's room.
"Nitro, I'm really sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you, I swear. I didn't want you to get hurt and... well, you understand that, right?"

Nitro was ignoring me, and I sucked in a breath. No going back now.

"I think... maybe I like you. There, I said it. I like you, okay? And well... I'm not this 'G' guy you like, but I want you to know that I'll try to be whatever you need me to be..."

I sat on her bed, patting her under her blankets softly. She wasn't responding, and I choked up.

"I know I'm not deserving, but if you could ever forgive me..."

She was silent for too long. I pulled back the blankets, and a bunch of pillows mocked me. I almost cried.

Running to the Red Lion, I sped after her ship using Pidge's newly installed tracking device. I felt my eyes start watering, wiping them away with my arm quickly. I was so embarrassed.

I found her sitting on a blue hill with her arm around some Galra. I started into a sprint, tackling him and rolling down the hill. I almost killed him.

"Keith!"

"I told you not to sneak off again!"
I yelled, my face turning red.

"And I told you what I was doing!"

"What, dating the enemy?!"

"He's not as bad as you, at least!"
She yelled, pushing me off G.

Tears threatened to spill again.
"Do you... think I'm bad?"

"Sometimes, yeah."

"Then... I guess you're right."
I turned, closing my eyes in pain.

"Nitro, is this the same guy that-"
G started sitting up from the grass.

"Yeah, he is."
She admitted quietly.

He grabbed my by the collar of my suit and snarled in my face.
"You're lucky she still thinks you're fighting for the right people-"

"Spazz, let him go."

I was released immediately.
"Wait, then who's G?"

"I just work for her. Nitro calls me Spazz."
He said, taking her hand.

"It doesn't matter who she is."
Nitro growled through her teeth.

Spazz turned to the sun suddenly.
"The sun is coming down, I need to go before they find my ship missing-"

"Yes, same here."
She shot a mean glance at me.

"Let's go, then. Let's get out of here."
I prompted, holding out a hand.

"I'll see you again, babe."
Spazz kissed her cheek, and I clenched my fists tightly.

"No, you won't."
I hissed at the back of his head.
