Since I've gotten so many requests... I'll try to finish up this story, as well as starting on the Spazz x Reader, if enough people are still interested. Looking back on what I wrote last year, I want to show all of you how I've improved my writing, thanks to all of your support! Let's see how many people want to keep this going... and thank you for supporting me through my writing.

Nitro! Why have you left me?

I pushed open the ship door.

Cramped in a small ship for two whole days? I'm not about that life.

I darted backwards quickly, away from sight. The tall one was sitting on his lion's giant paw, closing his eyes and resting.

I narrowed my eyes.

Upon further inspection, I noticed the wetness on his face. Shock rattled through me, and surprise.

Crying? A Paladin of Voltron?

I shadow traveled next to him, and gently put a hand on his arm.

He flinched, eyes shooting wide open. I slapped my hand over his mouth. He did not scream.

I raised an eyebrow.
"Why aren't you screaming for help?"

I pulled my hand away for his answer.

"No one will hear, if I scream."

"Tactical."
I shrugged, with admiration.

"No, no... I mean... they won't care."

"Oh."

"Yeah."
He said dejectedly, and then suddenly brightened up when he remembered something.

"But hey, forget it! I'm totally messing with you. I'm pretty cool once you get to know me, I swear-"

He was doing exactly what I used to do. Brush off depression as only a joke. I shook my head.

"I want to help you."

My voice came off as too compassionate, and his shoulders slacked. He remembered to laugh.

"The only thing I need help with is learning your name, babe."

I felt blood rush to my face.

"I'm... Lun?"
Something told me Nitro hadn't gotten around to telling them yet.

Let's keep my name a secret.

"Wow, beautiful name. Mine's Lance. Rhymes with romance."

I felt bad for him. I really did.

The words were out before I could even stop them.

"More like: 'not a chance'."

His face fell suddenly, and then he laughed again.

"I'm sorry."

"That's okay."

"No, it's not. I want to help you."

Not knowing what else to do, I kissed his cheek and pulled him into a hug. He seemed surprised at first, and then quickly buried his head in my shoulder. He squeezed me tightly.

"Thank you, Lun."

He kind of reminded me of Spazz. A smooth flirt, but... damaged emotionally and in need of help.

I had tried to help Spazz, but...

I squeezed my eyes shut.

I want to help the Paladin Lance.

"Hey, babe?"

"Mhmm?"

"How'd you get into the castle?"

Oh.

"I flew, of course."

"Oh. Are you an alien?"

"No. I am human. Just like you."

"I'm a nobody. You seem like a someone, though."

I cupped his face in my hands.
"You are a someone to me."

Tears ran out of the corners of his eyes. He bowed his head, and I held him as he sobbed into my chest armor. Not the most comfortable, but it seemed fine.

"I'll help you, Lance."
