"We need to talk, (l/n)."
I threw open Keith's door loudly.

"Shiro, she really doesn't need this right now..." Keith hissed, wrapping her closer into his arms protectively.

"I just want to-"

"Keith, who's that?"
A mumbled slur shuffled in the blankets, she was awake now.

"No one, I know you have a headache. Go back to sleep, hm?"

"Look, I just want to talk to her-"

"I said she wasn't in the mood!"
Keith yelled at me, and I walked over to them, getting frustrated now.

"Keith, I swear if you don't move-"

"Make me."
He growled back, and I picked her up.

"Get off!"
Keith snapped, refusing to let go of her. She squirmed in my grasp.

"Keith, I'll go. It's okay."
She said quietly.

"No, you're tired and-"
He blubbered.

"Please let go, Keith. I'll be fine."

He reluctantly obliged, and she nodded as I turned to leave.

"Shiro."

"Yeah?"

"Don't hurt her."
He warned, shaking a finger.

"I would never."
I turned away, propping her up on the couch in a comfortable position.

"Shiro, don't be mad at Keith...he was trying to help, I had a headache-"

"I'm not mad at Keith. I just want to talk to you about what happened."
I said slowly, and she looked away.

"Keith said you guys wouldn't see me differently because of it."
She said quietly, and I sighed.

"You're a literal bomb, (y/n)."

"I know- wait, how did you-"
She jumped, suddenly skeptical.

"Your last name. I knew your father."

"My father... of course..."
She mumbled, and I put a hand on her shoulder. She glanced up at me.

"Listen, it doesn't matter how I knew him. Why didn't you tell us?"

"Keith would've left me back home."

"Why?"

"Because he was one of the people who kicked him out of the Garrison."

My eyes widened in surprise.

"But... what about you? You didn't go to the Garrison, Keith would have remembered, otherwise..."

"I followed my own dream, and applied for a scholarship to a biology university. I actually-"

"I know, he told me. You've made a lot of money, huh? And yet, you've never gone back home..."

"And I never will."
(Y/n) growled sourly.

"Don't say that! I'll make sure you get back home, I promise-"

"I don't want to go back home, Shiro! I just want to stay with my family."

"Your family is home."

"No. My family is here."
(Y/n) pushed herself off the couch, and walked to her room hurriedly.

'What would Mr. (L/n) say?!'
I thought frantically.

"I don't care. You're going back."

"Make me."
