NITRO - TEAM VOLTRON

He fell asleep in my arms soon after, and I found comfort in running my fingers through his soft black hair.

Look at him. Look at my Keith.

He's mine. No one is going to lay a finger on him without getting past me first. I smiled proudly.

He's mine.

I belong here, on the Castle. I belong in this team. I belong with him. I found where I'm meant to be.

I pushed up the front piece of his hair and kissed his forehead. I left the room, and went to the main control room. Coran saw me first.

"Nitro!"
He tackled me into a bear hug.

"It's good to see you back!"

I nodded, and Allura turned to me.

"Did you miss me, Princess?"
I joked.

"Nitro. I greatly admire your courage and dedication to Team Voltron. What you've sacrificed for this team is... well... I suppose what I'm trying to say is..."

I raised a brow. This was completely unexpected.

"...can we try to get along?"

I broke into a grin.
"Of course, Princess."

She hugged me tightly.
"Good. I figured it would be a wise to get on your side in case the boys do something stupid."

I laughed.
"Where's Pidge?"

"Pidge is-"

"NITRO!!!"

"Pidge!"
I exclaimed, catching her as she jumped into my arms.

"You're okay!"
Pidge buried her face in my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm okay."
I patted her hair.

"We need to schedule a girls only bonding date."
Allura chuckled.

"For sure."

"But for now..."
Pidge had this wide smirk across her face.

"What?"

"You should go and tell Keith you're back."

"Oh! I already told him. He was the first to know."

"Ooooooooo, lucky mullet!"

I rolled my eyes.

Lance and Hunk came stumbling into the room, Hunk pulling me into a soft marshmallow hug.

"Nitro, you're back!"

"Yeah!"
Lance echoed, joining the hug.

He took my hand gently, and Hunk stepped back. Lance looked like he was close to tears.

"It's so good to have you back."

"I missed you too, Lance."
He wrapped his arms around my waist, and I let mine fall on his shoulders.

"Ahem."

My head snapped up.
"Keith, you're up."

"Yeah. I'm up. And you two were hugging."
He said accusingly.

I didn't know what to say.

"...without me."

I let out a sigh of relief as Keith joined in, and then the whole team.

This is my family.

This is my team.

Team Voltron.

YAYYY!! 100th part! I'm thinking of leaving it off here, and ending the story like this. I have more written, but this just seems like a good (happy) ending. I am aware wattpad has a chapter limit, so if (and when) I know I'll make the sequel to this book covering the answers to questions left unanswered, like:

What happened to G?

How will the war progress from here?

What new powers will the fusion Nova bring?

...and others. I'll update a new chapter telling my lovely readers what the title is when I finish it.
