-Brenda's point of view

"So what do guys want to do?" I asked the group of teenagers in front of me.

"Let's play a classic game of truth or dare!" Carter suggested.

Everyone agreed, so we sat on the ground forming a big circle.

"I'll go first! Nash, truth or dare?" Gilinsky volunteered.

"Truth." Nash answered.

"Why did you cheat on Brenda?" Gilinsky asked.

"Umm, never mind! Dare!" Nash stuttered.

"I dare you to answer the question." Gilinsky smirked.

"I don't know. I guess Brenda never wanted anything more than a makeout." Nash shrugged.

I don't know what happened to me, but I bursted out in laughter. I was laughing so hard, I couldn't breath and had tears in my eyes.

"What's so funny?" Cam asked confused.

"I c-can't." I managed to say in between laughs.

"Ahh." I sighed once I calmed down.

"Hey Brandon, can we talk?" Jackie asked me.

"Sure." I smiled getting up.

"Ooouu! Use protection!" Gilinsky yelled before we closed the door.

"Fuck you!" I yelled back playfully.

Jackie and I walked up to our special place. The roof. Romantic, huh?

We sat down on the edge like we always do. We sat in silence for a while, enjoying the view. It felt nice. There was no stress or preoccupations up here. It was worry free.

I focused on the stars. They were really bright tonight. Out of many, one stood out. The biggest and brightest star to my eyes.

"You found him, didn't you?" Jackie asked me.

"Yeah. He seems happy." I answered.

"He does. I bet he would like for you to also be happy." Jackie replied.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"I know you're not happy. I can tell by looking in your eyes. What's going on?" He asked.

"I don't know. I guess I'm really stressed out, ya know? It's kinda holding me down from where I want to be." I answered.

"Where do you want to be?" He asked.

"I don't know. Some place where I have success. Not that I don't have any, but I want everyone happy. I feel horrible. I'm leaving Crystal because of my opportunity. I'm leaving you. I'm leaving Magcon. I'm leaving my family. I'm basically leaving the most important things in my life." I explained.

"Your doing something good for you. All this time, you've been doing things for others, and now it's your turn. Enjoy it. You deserve it." He smiled.

"But what about us?" I asked with my voice cracking.

"What do you mean?" Jackie asked confused.

"What's going to happen to us?" I asked.

"Oh." Was all he said.

"Can you do me a favor?" I asked.

"Anything for you." Jackie nodded.

"Can you move on? I really like you. I just don't think it will work out. I wanna see you happy with someone who can provide you happiness. Someone who won't leave your side. Someone who's not me." I pleaded as the first tear rolled down my cheek.
