Cheryl's POV
"Millz, wake up." I gently shook Camille awake and realized that we were laid down in the front room. I got up from me spot on the sofa and saw Camille squirming around to find a comfortable spot again.
"Bubba." I tried again, but failed. I put me hands on her cheeks and kissed her forehead. I couldn't help but adore the cute face she has when she sleeps. When she felt me hands on her cheeks, she started to wake up.
"Mamma?" She cracked open her eyes and looked up at us. When I gave her a small smile, I got a bigger one in return.
"I'm right here." I took her hands in mine and held them to me heart. I'm guessing she could feel me heartbeat, by the smile on her face.
"I'll always be right here." I whispered to her and kissed her hands. She wordlessly got up and threw her arms around me neck. I held onto her smaller body and pulled her onto me lap.
"Listen to us, bubba. I don't ever want to push you, but you changed yesterday. I just want you to know that I would never send you back anywhere. You belong in this house with me and Kimba for forever." I swore to her, needing to know that she knows the truth.
"Mam, I just need space. I need space and time to process all these new feelings. Then we can talk as much as you want, I promise." She gave us those puppy dog eyes that I can't possibly resist. We hooked pinkies and I thought about everything she said.
"What new feelings?" I asked her, needing to know that she hasn't changed too much.
"Yesterday, Dr. Hayes was talking me through a lot of different things. I never knew I had those certain feelings, so it's changing me in a way. Maybe in the end, it will be for the better." She explained to us, making us feel a little bit more assured. If anything terribly changed, I would be able to tell. So, maybe it is for the better.
"Just always know that I love you, okay? And Kimba does too." I said and made sure to include Kimberley in this.
"I know, Mammy." Camille looked at us and laughed. I don't know what was so funny, but she kissed me cheek in the process.
"I know, Mammy." I mocked her baby voice and got a slap to the chest in return. I dramatically winced, getting a giggle from me daughter. Me favorite sound - her giggle.
"I love you, too. And Kimba." She added and continued to giggle.
"Who're you callin' Kimba?" Kimberley walked into the front room and tickled Camille's sides. She squirmed in me arms, making us laugh.
"And Mum." Camille corrected herself and settled her giggles.
"Me auditions start soon, are you going to be joining us?" I asked her as I made her get off me lap. We all made our way into the kitchen to start breakfast - well, for Kimba to start breakfast.
"I'll have to think about it." She cocked her head and looked up as if she was thinking about it. Kimberley laughed at her sarcasm and looked at me serious face.
"And why is that? You were so excited to join us!" I whined, wanting Camille to see me do what I love. If I tell her to do whatever she loves, I have to show her an example.
"You know, I don't like that Simon Cowell very much." She seriously said, making us all laugh.
"Good girl." I smiled and winked at her, getting a small giggle in return. Kimberley continued to make breakfast while me and Camille played music on the surround-sound speakers.
'Shoutout to my ex, you're really quite the man
You've made my heart break and that made me who I am
Here's to my ex, hey, look at me now
Well, I, I'm all the way up
I swear you'll never bring me down'
