Author's POV
Cheryl woke up before the family's alarm this morning. She looked at her daughter between her arms and smiled. Just the thought of Camille always brightens her day.
"Bubba." Cheryl ran her hands through the teens hair, trying to softly wake her up. She kissed her daughter's forehead and saw blue eyes fluttering open.
"Good Morning, me gorgeous girl." Cheryl whispered to Camille, causing them to smile at each other. Camille shuffled around and sat herself up.
"You've got school today." Cheryl said as she sat up with Camille. She turned her head towards the teen and surprised her with a kiss to the cheek.
"Don't wipe away me kisses!" Cheryl gasped as she watched the teen wipe the kiss off her cheek.
"I'm only joking." Camille lightly giggled and adjusted to the sun peeping through the curtains.
"What do you have to do today?" The teen asked as she stretched her back and yawned, making Cheryl smile with adoration.
"I have a really important meeting about my album release today. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly." Cheryl sighed, just wanting to get her music back out there. She's been gone for awhile and is so excited to come back.
"That sounds exciting. I'm still overly proud of you, Mamma." Camille sweetly said, making Cheryl kiss her cheek again. Camille smiled at the contact and headed over to her own room.
After getting ready, Camille went downstairs into the kitchen. She saw the breakfast on the breakfast bar and her eyes lit up. The teen was about to dig into he breakfast until her Mum stopped her.
"Hey, take your pill." Kimberley sweetly said, not wanting to snap at her daughter. The teen snapped her finger, signaling that she almost forgot. The antidepressant that Dr. Hayes prescribed to her have to be taken twice a day. They have many side effects, but Camille tries to put them off.
The rest of the morning went by quickly as the Tweedy-Walsh family stepped out of the house. Kimberley and Camille drove to MaryAnne's and Cheryl drove to her meeting. Kimberley saw Camille looking out the window, ignoring her presence.
"Hey, sweetheart. Is everything okay, you seem a little distant." Kimberley said as she looked at Camille for a split second before putting her attention back on the street. She blindly put a piece of the teen's hair behind her ear, making Camille smile.
"Yeah, I just-" Camille was going to go into it, but she saw the big school in the distance. There just isn't enough time to explain herself.
"What is it?" Kimberley worried about all the things that Camille could be thinking about right now. The teen's doubts are always never-ending, which constantly scares her mothers'.
"I'll tell you after school, I gotta go." Camille said and sadly looked at her Mum. Kimberley just nodded as Camille leant over the middle console to kiss her cheek.
"Bye, love you." Camille quickly said as she grabbed her rugsak and violin case from the backseat.
"Love you, sweetheart." Kimberley replied before Camille closed the car door shut. Kimberley watched Camille meet up with Beau and head into the school. She frowned at the thought of Camille hiding something and drove off before getting honked at.
"Hey, Queen." Beau greeted Camille at the front doors of the school.
"Hey, ready to go?" Camille asked and held up her arm.
