Author's POV

Camille closed the front door before hugging Beau and waving him off as he got into his Mum's car.  The teen turned around and saw her Mam standing behind her.

"Hi, bubs." Cheryl held her arms out and saw Camille rush into them.  She cuddled her daughter and kissed the top of her head.

"Give us kisses." Cheryl puckered her lips and felt Camille kiss her cheek.  They both giggled as Cheryl did the same, but repeatedly kissed her and made obnoxious noises. Cheryl hates when she can't kiss her daughter all day.

"I want you to email them back." Cheryl randomly said, but Camille knew exactly what she was referring to.

"Seriously?!" Camille jumped back from her mother's hold with her jaw dropped. She doesn't know what her Mum did to convince Cheryl, but it worked.

"Yes, I want you to do what you want. I'm so proud of you for taking this on with so much confidence." Cheryl held her daughter by the shoulders and lifted her chin, smiling at her daughter with pride.

"Thanks, Mamma." Camille wrapped her arms around her mother's neck and embraced her sweetly.  Cheryl pouted as she kissed her daughter's head.  She just loves how adorable and childish Camille sounds when she says 'Mamma'.

"You know that I'm very proud of you, right?" Cheryl said as she took the teen's hand and pulled her to the front room.

"Yeah, of course I do." Camille said, telling the truth.  She knows that her Mam is proud of her, but her doubting sometimes makes her forget.

"Is Cameron still coming to pick you up?" Cheryl asked as they walked to the front room. Camille is still exhausted from her late night with Beau, so she just wants to lay down and have some cuddles.

"Yeah, he should be here around noon." Camille said, remembering that she'll have to get ready soon.

"Let us spend the morning with you." Cheryl pulled her daughter to lay down on top of her and cuddled her close.  Camille laid her head on her mother's chest and wrapped her arms around her.

"Do you know that you have me whole heart?" Cheryl smiled down at her daughter and kissed her cheek.  They're faces were now perfectly lined up, noses almost touching.

"The whole thing?" Camille cheekily asked as she looked into her mother's deep brown eyes.

"It's all yours." Cheryl leaned her head foreword and made their noses touch.  Camille giggled and it melted Cheryl's heart.

"All of it?" Camille asked.

"Well, Kimba gets some too, don't be selfish." Cheryl kissed each of her daughter's cheeks in-between her words as she spoke.

"Mamma, tell me about Girls Aloud." Camille randomly requested.

"What do you mean?" Cheryl asked as she watched Camille sit up by propping up her forearms on the sides of Cheryl.

"People at school always tell me good things, but I want to hear it from you." Camille told her mother, letting Cheryl know that people at school talk about her to the teen.  She wanted people to talk to Camille, not 'Cheryl's daughter'.

"What would you like to know?" Cheryl asked, allowing her daughter to ask her anything about her good past times.

"What was it like? Is it better than being a solo artist?" Camille wondered, curious to know what made her mother join a girlband.

"I would say in some aspects, yeah. I was able to put the pressure on the other three if I felt nervous about anything. It's also fun doing what you love with your best friends." Cheryl explained, telling her daughter what she's told many people before when they ask the same questions.
