Author's POV
"Good Morning, sweetheart." Kimberley gently spoke to wake her daughter up. Camille's eyes fluttered open and she smiled at her Mum. It wasn't until she looked over to check the time that she realized her Mum had made blueberry pancakes and stuck a candle in the shape of a three in the middle.
"What's this?" Camille sat up and saw that her mother had a huge grin on her face.
"It's our anniversary! You've been here for exactly three months." Kimberley said and Camille didn't even remotely know that. She smiled widely and blew out the candle as Kimberley held the plate up for her.
"Thanks, Mum." Camille kissed Kimberley's cheek and hugged her tightly. Kimberley turned her head and repeatedly kissed the teen's cheek.
"I know your Mam's not here, but she tried to surprise you. I promised her over the phone to surprise you with a day full of fun. I guess things got a bit hectic for her." Kimberley said before Camille finally released their hug.
"First things first, we're gonna eat all this. Then, we're gonna cuddle, get ready, go to Cherry Park, and eat lunch at Nando's. After that, it's your turn to plan out our whole night." Kimberley listed all of their doings for the day and Camille nodded along with a big smile on her face.
"Aww, Mum. That's so sweet." Camille sighed with adoration and felt a tear roll down her cheek.
"Sweetheart-" Kimberley took her daughter into her arms and giggled at the emotional side to Camille that she's seeing.
"Sorry, I just didn't think you'd remember the exact date and all that stuff." Camille admitted and dried her cheek with the back of her hand. She giggled through her happy tears and laid back with her Mum.
"I love you and all your emotions." Kimberley said and they both laughed. Camille buried her head into Kimberley's chest and inhaled her motherly scent.
After a while of their morning cuddles and finishing their breakfast, they got out of bed to get ready. Camille let Kimberley choose her outfit and do her hair. Kimberley chose a dungaree dress and a dark gray-blue shirt underneath.
"Come here, my love." Kimberley gestured for her daughter to sit down at the vanity. The teen sat down and looked at herself in the mirror.
"You look beautiful." Kimberley said as she played with her daughter's hair. She started to gently braid Camille's hair, careful not to tug on the long locks.
"Thank you." Camille said in a slightly smug way. They both giggled and Kimberley held the braid together with some bobby pins.
"Can I do yours?" Camille hopefully asked as she looked in the mirror at her Mum's work.
"My hairs too short for a braid." Kimberley said and looked at her daughter's confused face.
"No, I mean, can I curl it for you?" Camille looked up at her Mum, pleading to have the chance to do someone else's hair. Camille has always been interested in hair and new styles. Ever since the photoshoot and video with Cheryl, Camille's been hooked on the makeup artist and hair stylist lifestyle.
"Promise not to burn my ears off?" Kimberley joked, but was actually a bit serious.
"Cross my heart." Camille pretended to draw an 'x' on her heart with her fingers, making Kimberley nod.
