Author's POV
"Bubba," Cheryl whispered to her daughter that didn't seem to budge when she did so. She smiled to herself as she sat down beside Camille's sleeping body and brushed her fingers through the soft, brown hair.
"C'mon, gorgeous." She said to Camille as she saw her daughter's eyes slightly flutter open. The crystal blue eyes looked up at Cheryl and melted her heart. She's in a trance by those big and innocent blue eyes and she knows it.
"Mamma?" Camille said as she stretched her arms out, making Cheryl pout at the adorable action.
"Yeah, baby." Cheryl sighed out of adoration and kissed her daughter's cheek so lightly that their cheek and lips barely touched.
"I've missed waking you up." Cheryl still talked quietly, not wanting to annoy her daughter on a good morning.
"You used to never be awake." Camille giggled and fully sat up. She leaned her head on her Mam's shoulder and, to Cheryl's surprise, fell asleep right there.
"Baby, are you asleep?!" Cheryl asked and made Camille wake up again. The teen shook her head and snaked her arms around her mother's shoulders. Cheryl kissed her daughter's hair a few times and then made her get up.
"I'll make you a cuppa and some toast." Cheryl said before she walked downstairs and left Camille to take her shower. The teen lightly stomped her way to her ensuite, not wanting to go to school. She just wanted to stay home and cuddle all day.
Camille took her shower quickly and put on her clothes for the day. She opted for a pair of light wash jeans and a white, long-sleeve shirt that had a pocket on the upper-left side. She put on her socks, but left her booties by the door. The teen sat down at the vanity and started to do her makeup.
"Here you go, bubs." Cheryl came in the bedroom and placed the small plate of toast and the mug on the vanity's surface. Camille smiled at the gesture as Cheryl kissed her forehead.
"Thank you." Camille sang and kissed her Mam's cheek. Cheryl started to finish Camille's makeup, giving her the chance to eat her breakfast. She also put Camille's hair into a curled ponytail, making sure that everyone could see her daughter's beautiful face clearly.
"I wish I could drive you to school today." Cheryl whined and pouted at her daughter. Camille smiled sadly and kissed her Mam's nose, making her feel better. She patted her Mam's shoulder and walked over to her shoes at the door. She slipped them on and grabbed her bag and phone before walking out.
Today, Kimberley had to be in super early to the diner, so Camille called Wren to drive her to school. She hasn't seen him in a few days and has missed him, so she didn't cancel the plans when her Mam offered to drive her.
"Drive safe and have a good day, okay?" Cheryl said before Camille opened the front door and made her way out to Wren's car. She nodded her head, seeing as she's not a very verbal person in the morning.
"I love you." Camille said and hugged her mother. The two smiled into the embrace before Cheryl let Wren sweep her daughter away for the rest of the day.
"Baby!" Camille ran out of the home's front door and over to Wren's car.  He smiled widely as she put her arms around his neck.  Wren picked her up by her thighs and lifted her onto him.
