(A/N: I just love Clueless so much, so I had to add my favorite pic of Alicia! Couldn't find a relatable song so I'm giving you the pleasure of listening to one of my new faves. x)

Author's POV

"Hey, Mam, can I show you something?" Camille asked her mother as she walked into the kitchen and found Cheryl leaned against the counter on her phone.

"Yeah, baby, what's up?" Cheryl replied and watched her daughter walk towards her with her laptop.

"So Savannah and I got these emails from the Right To Be Me charity and they asked us to be one of their sponsors and stuff. They want me to do a photo shoot with other influential teens and an interview with radio stations and tv shows." Camille explained to her mother as she showed her a legit email from the charity.

"Why did they choose you?" Cheryl asked, knowing exactly why they chose her daughter.  Yes, it's for a charity, but it's also a company looking for famous sponsors.  With Camille's recent attention, she's somehow become a celebrity herself.

"They said that I'm an influential teen." Camille said, wondering why her mother would ask that question.

"Who are the other people?" Cheryl asked.

"There isn't any others.  They asked if me and Savannah wanted to create our own branch for their charity-" Camille summed up the email and then realized something "You sound as if you don't believe I can do this." Camille snapped and Cheryl was taken aback.

"No, Millz.  I'm just saying that...this isn't something that you're used to.  A photo shoot and interviews aren't your normal everyday life.  I don't want you all over the spotlight only to get torn down by the media." Cheryl tried, in the nicest way possible, to describe what will happen to Camille if she takes the offer.

"But, Mam, this is something that I can do to help other people." Camille wasn't going to give up that easy.  Cheryl knew she was starting to get mad because she called her 'Mam' instead of 'Mamma'.

"See, this is your selflessness kicking in. Just because it's helping other people, you think you have to be involved." Cheryl pointed at Camille, not having any of the attitude that the teen is putting on.

"Look, I researched this campaign and it's all for a good cause. Not only is it teens, but I could help anyone of any age and gender.  I have the ability to create my very own charity with my best friend, why say no?" Camille still fought her mother for the chance to take this offer.  Cheryl looked her daughter in the eye, conflicted on what she should do.

"I think this would be really cool and a good experience for me.  I've suffered from so much and I can help people like me realize that they're not alone." Camille continued on as she saw that Cheryl seemed to be caving.

"I'm gonna call Nicola and ask her what she said to Savannah." Cheryl told Camille, confusing the teen.

"Why?"

"Because I want to know if she's letting Savannah do this." Cheryl answered.

"But I'm not Savannah, I'm Camille.  That's their life, not ours.  I don't even understand why it's such a big deal to let me do some work for a charity." Camille made Cheryl seem like the bad guy in the situation and the mother hates that.

"It's not that, it's just the attention.  You always say that you want to live a normal life, but now you're signing yourself up for a life of cameras and attention." Cheryl explained for the millionth time.  Camille's face fell, knowing that she couldn't fight against her Mam anymore.  Cheryl felt bad as she immediately fell for the puppy-dog eyes and pout.
