Author's POV
"Babe," Kimberley tapped her girlfriend's shoulder, needing to wake up her daughter as well "The plane is landing." She quietly murmured to Cheryl and watched her slowly wake up. The woman looked down at the teen and smiled, loving to see Camille in her arms.
"We slept the whole time?" Cheryl asked and looked around, seeing that the plane was now lit with pure sunlight.
"Yeah, you guys didn't even get thirty minutes into the film." Kimberley giggled and rubbed Camille's back, finding her adorable when she's tangled up in Cheryl's hold.
"Bubba," Cheryl stroked Camille's cheek, attempting to softly wake her up "Bubs, you have to sit in your own pod." Cheryl smiled as the teen looked around the plane, seeming confused. Camille had almost forgotten that they were on a plane, feeling as if her mother's arms bring her back home.
"Okay," Camille whispered and went to her own pod. She put her seatbelt on, mirroring all her mothers' actions. The three of them watched the plane go down to land on the runway. A glimpse of Paris was seen through their window, which made all their eyes gloss with amazement.
The smooth landing of the plane made the teen become more and more excited. It's now officially a week until Christmas and Camille can't wait. Her first Christmas with her Mam and Mum - a day she hopes to never forget.
"Grab your carry-on, bubs," Cheryl told Camille as they were able to get out of their seats. The teen grabbed her rugsak, along with Cheryl's purse from the compartment above her.
"Thank you." Cheryl thanked her daughter and then walked down the aisle with Kimberley behind her. The mother grabbed the teen's hand, not wanting her to get lost in the other people.
"Have a wonderful day!" One of the air hostesses smiled and waved to Camille.
"Thank you." Camille politely thanked the hostess and the pilots as she walked by. As she stepped off the plane, she could almost feel like she was back in the days with Cameron.
"Are you excited?!" The teen turned around and asked her parents, still holding onto Cheryl's hand.
"Yeah!" Kimberley smiled and held out her free hand, getting Camille to take it and walk in-between the two. As they got to the main area of the airport, they went through all the process again.
Camille watched for their bags while the women took a bathroom break, leaving Camille to scurry along the moving belt. She had the three bags next to her at some point and attempted to roll them out of the way. The teen got them to a seat where she sat down and took a breather.
"Got the bags?" Cheryl asked as she sat next to Camille and waited for Kimberley. The queue was taking ages and Kimberley must have had to wait.
"Yeah, yours is heavy." Camille giggled with her mother, knowing that the bags gave her biceps a good workout.
"What do you want to do first?" Cheryl asked her daughter and stroked that back of the teen's head while messing with her hair.
"I want to go to the Christmas market!" The teen got super excited and looked into her mother's magical brown eyes.
"Yeah?" Cheryl hummed and kissed her daughter's cheek "We can do that. Then maybe just dinner and some good rest." The mother suggested, getting Camille to nod in agreement.
"And then tomorrow we can do the cruise? And the ballet show?!" Camille exclaimed and made Cheryl's smile widen. The mother just loves how happy the teen gets when she speaks about the things she loves. It's the sparkle in Camille's eye - it's enchanting.
